Absolute legends. This place always slaps. Huge serving sizes and fast service, whats not to love!

This restaurant is hit n miss. Typically get pork bowls and they tend to range from being light to normal. Serving sizes not consistent. Also when use drive thru they clearly don’t listen and end up with beef rather than pork. Don’t assume everyone orders the same dish. Disappointed as by the time you get home it’s too much effort to return.

Hi I was given completely raw chicken on the 1/12/2023 which resulted in me having serious salmonella. Now on the 5/12/2023 I’m able to walk again. We tried calling to talk about the issue and firstly no one answered multiple times and after explaining the first bit of my situation when we did finally get through we were hung up on. This resulted in me missing many events over the weekend as well. I’ve lost over a $1k as I had a very busy weekend, all paid for… plus expenses from hospital visits and medication. So absolutely devastated never been in so much pain in my life and GYG did absolutely nothing! Not only that I paid with vouchers at the window, and it was like the staff are angry at me for paying with vouchers when they were putting them through which leads me to believe maybe it was purposefully done. I don’t know that might be a stretch, but overall really terrible experience.

The best GYG in Melbourne for me.only one thing, I drive through pretty much every week, that how much I love. But whenever I drive through, 3-4/5 never put any fork or napkin, sometimes I’d like to have to eat in my car at the park or parking lot, but I couldn’t because there no fork, (I know they are busy sometimes) but hope they always check everything is there before handing it to the customers.

Has gone downhill fast. Long wait for food and food not as good as it once was. Staff seem to not care and are lazy and slow. Chips old and cold and cali burrito was put together really badly with no care at all. Instead of delicious slow cooked beef you get slow cooked lumps of fat. Staff standing around chatting obviously don’t care and just there for appearance money. Such a shame as it use to be amazing food and service.

Not a good representation of value for money. $19.70 for a large meal - burrito, chip, drink - nothing fancy. Inflation is partly to blame but you're certainly taking the mickey.

The “drive through” is hopeless.
On our visit, I don’t know whether it was the girl’s first day on Ty job or she was just incompetent. I had to repeat my order three! Times before we were asked to move through.
The food was really good though.
Next time I think we will dine indoors, and forget the drive through.

Not even giving 1star. Ordered through unereats staff should be very dumb send my burrito bowl without any rice or beans and even unereats refusing to give my refunds. Don't ever visit or place orders through this place. If you guys can't serve it properly just cancel it. You guys think you guys are serving to dogs? Highly disappointed and I'm coming back to store for refunds tomorrow

What a surprise. Stopped in a hurry, thought it would be same old fast food. It was anything but! Fresh, good tasting and value for money. Add to that fast service. Every one of the staff looked like they were having fun even though they were flat out. Another impressive thing was I think it was the owner walked in and shook every staff members hand with a smile and a kind word, rare to see that sort of relationship these days.

Only this store is worst among others. I am leaving this review after several experiences. 9/10 disappointing. I ordered Veggie bowel today - spicy - when I requested spicy I did not ask for 1 liter spicy sauce in the bowel.

You guys need to improve on this. Please prepare someone breakfast/ lunch / diner with respect. We are wasting time driving, Ordering, and paying. - just to get good meal from you guys

Either there is no spoons given or it’s poorly made that - nobody wants to eat.

I have to say I love GYG. The food is always fresh and I love their devotion to minimising their environmental footprint. Love them.

One of the best guzman. I like this place, the ambience, never had a problem with service or staff, and with the breakfast, I visit more frequent now.

Just got dinner, tonight. Thought l would go in and order to get meal instead of drive through. Instead of chicken got a sogy, full of rice and cheese burrito with abit of beef! Taco's were absolutely rubbish. On top of that a public holiday fee of 15%. Happy to pay the extra holiday fee but get order right and make good food, guys.

The only reason they dont get a five is that they are that busy all the time, its hard to navigate the traffic to get into the place.cant fault the staff and restaurant.

Absolute disgusting. Ordered two churros, and two bowls. The bowls has most a thin layer of rice with cheese. Two to three pieces of beef. Worst is got a used up caramel sauce. Uploading the photo here. I wish I could take it back but it’s just late. We had some instant noodles in the end for dinner

Great customer service and fantastic food,
I would like to mention a young lad, Brooklyn, I had great experience with him in the drive thru.

Pheobe in drive through was so lovely assisting my friend and i’s questions about certain items and requests! Even at the 7pm dinner rush she was patient and thorough whilst being prompt with her answers to our q’s! Best customer service from her!

The worst gyg in Melbourne, I am a regular to GYG and love there food but Croydon has to be the worst, we asked them to remake the order and it was made even worse the second time. This experience has really left a bitter taste in my mouth

Ordered a taco and asked for extra sour cream and guac and reconfirmed it twice to make sure they got it coz they always forget, low and behold i get my taco and there’s no guac and sour cream… my night is ruined

Wraps are delicious, drive through at Croydon is terrible. Very slow and also the entry and exit is poorly designed.
