Couldn’t be more disappointed. Has to be the worst if not one of the worst Guzmans. Just ordered a simple spicy cali burrito with extra chicken. Didn’t get the spicy right and it couldn’t have been any small. Worst $17.80 spent
I've been ordering from GYG Monash for the past five years and noticed the quality of service and food has gone down. Once I waited for my online order for over 15 mins. When I asked the staff, they rudely told me to wait if 'my number has not been called' without checking my order number. I waited for another 10 mins, turns out someone else had taken my order. The staff didn't apologise. This time, I ordered a quesadilla plus and this is what I got. I went back and showed them my food and the staff just stared blankly at me without apologising. Another staff from behind the register was kind enough to apologise and offered to bring me the newly prepared food, which I appreciated. I really think the rest of the team should step up their customer service. Lately I've also been hearing negative reviews from friends and colleagues about this chain. I am currently avoiding the place as I've been getting negative experience quite too often.
Food quality is awesome.they give out your order in take out boxes which are convenient to carry. Sometimes order takes longer to be prepared but then it's worth the wait for that mexican delicacy.
Very busy place and I believe that must the reason why the rice was not cooked properly for my burrito.
Amazing food and service. The chipotle mayo is bomb. Good value food, great taste and washed it down with a cheap corona
Everything was cold and miserable. Service was shocking. Normally Guzman is good, this one is not.
Ordered an Enchilada via menulog. Was missing the tortilla all together. Maybe they are doing sustainable tortillas where you just eat the box.
Stay away from this place at all cost.

And I don't know why the staff working there also have a attitude problem. Or they are lacking of energy, I felt they are really tired working there.
I asked for one nacho and they charge me almost 30 dollars because the counter girl thought I order two nacho. It is either she is not paying attention or she think I need to eat two person food in order to keep myself sane.
So the nacho taste like it has been soaked in water. It taste the same like you open a bag of chips and keep there for 5 days before you eat it.
The burrito rice that I had before has put too much water inside so it is very sticky, I wanted to give them a chance so I did not comment on it before, but this is the 3rd time I had bad experience in this restaurant.
Is there any quality control on this restaurant at all?
I recommend the nachos and mandarin flavored Jarrito.but the food was a tad bit cold cold. Overall I highly recommend eating here if you like healthy options
They forgot to add chicken to my chicken burrito bowl! Genius! Lucky that we were dining in… unlucky if we did a takeaway
This is one of the worst gyg's I have been to. The burritos usually have way too much rice. This alone wasn't enough to leave a review. My experience tonight prompted me to post. My order was taking a while to get to me, so I spoke to the front counter person and he said it was coming. After a bit more of a wait I looked over at the screen and saw that my order wasn't there. I asked again, so he spoke to the blond manager. She prompted the staff to remake to the food and he informed me that the food may have been taken. The burrito and bowl was remade, however I saw the staff open a bag and look annoyed. This was my order which was put to the side. The same cold chips were handed to me that were in the bag and I received no apology let alone recognition. Granted, it was busy however a "sorry for the wait" would have been nice. Definitely go somewhere else for food.
Pumping Music makes it hard to hear yourself and despite the cold and uncleaned tables, we sat outside. Order turn-around is pretty good despite the place being absolutely maxed out on Friday evening. The food preparation looked rushed and there was signs of hygiene short-cuts with ingredients scattered across work benches and floors. The Burritos were soggy but tasty. Overall okay but I don't think I'm coming back.

I found a long, black hair in my cheese fries. Disgusting, do not eat here!
Edit: I contacted customer service and after a few emails they gave me a $15 credit. Considering my meal was $18.50, which was wasted since I had to throw the food out, the credit is not sufficient. You’d think after the disgusting experience I had, the company would’ve done more to rectify this issue. Apparently not. Will never eat here again, credit or no credit.
The service is getting slower and slower, to a point that I stopped going. The wait time for a standard burrito could take up to 30 mins.
I have to downgrade my rating based on my recent experience. I usually walk to the campus in my lunch break. Recently, 20+ minutes wait is the new norm. Food is already cold when it gets on the front bench. To make it worse, the monitor that show the orders is broken and they don't bother fixing it. The app is broken too, as it doesn't update the status of the order until hours later. So I have to stand in an over crowded room waiting for the guys to shout out my number.
Ordered a burrito with sauteed mushrooms. Food didn't take too long to be ready, but I was given the wrong size. Staff were understanding and quick to correct the mistake, and I'm glad to see vegetarian options on the menu. Overall a satisfactory experience
Food is fine but staff are rude. Just because you’re busy that’s not an excuse to be snappy and rude to customers who are politely following up their order after your mistakes … won’t be back.
I Pre-ordered my food with over an hour till the set pick-up time but was missing an item off the order, (only found out until I opened everything up when I got home) tried to call the store but I understand that they were busy and not able to take my call. Just a bit disappointed because I haven't had previous bad experiences with GYG. I have lodged a customer service claim and I'm awaiting a response.
