Just moved to Melbourne and came here to get some reloading gear and another Sako rifle. The service was great and the guys really knew their stuff. This now will be my local gun store in Melbourne. Highly recommended!

What a great experience!

Had been meaning to stop in here for quite some time, finally got the chance to get in and check out the store and was glad i did!

Got some great advice from Tony about a good calibre for roo shooting, he showed me a few guns and offered me a good deal (without feeling pressured to buy).
Unfortunately could not afford a new gun that day, but managed to grab a few other things i needed while i was there. Will definitely be back in. If only the shop wasnt so far away, it would be my new local gun store otherwise.

Thanks for the great service guys and gals
Sam

I got told I would definitely get my firearm before Christmas, probably on the the 20th of December. Picked it up on the 3rd of Jan. I was told it was everyone else’s fault but theirs. I was told if I ordered it that day they would “push” the order and ensure I had delivery before Christmas. When I rang Bruce the manager was pretty rude to me on the phone and then told me it wasn’t actually ordered until 3 days later. He did not make any effort to apologise or make the transaction any better, no discount for the stuff around, even had to pay full whack on extras I purchased. I could have paid less and had the firearm in my hands far earlier from other gun shops in melbourne. Next time I need a firearm I will go elsewhere. Marty was a great help throughout the transaction. If you do make the mistake of shopping here I would make sure you deal only with him and avoid Bruce at all costs.

Very impressed as I spoke to Bruce on the phone regarding issues with my Mauser 308 (trigger creep and misfire issues) and he was very informative and helpful in advising the possible causes and possible repair costs. After bringing it in, two very welcoming and informative staff (Martin & Glenn) provided wonderful banter, education and assistance and tried to resolve the rifle problems with some possible quick solutions (including cleaning, lubricating and taking the bolt (action) out). Unfortunately these quick possible fixes were unsuccessful and we discussed possibly sending it off to an expert gunsmith but their enthusiasm and skill cannot be questioned.

Then the wizard Bruce (wise gentleman), became available and had remembered a similar situation in the past and in under 20 minutes had discovered the problem and corrected it (after removing the barrel from the stock) and the repair cost me a cheap sum. To say I appreciated the efforts, expertise and will return again to get advice from Bruce, Martin and Glenn in their Gun Emporium field of expertise is an understatement. Well done Gents.

Called a few local stores on Friday as a beginner just starting out. Of the stores I called Bruce was very friendly and helpful - something I appreciated as I am just started out. Their shop was the furthest away from me but the great service I had over the phone meant I went there the next day and bought my first firearm from Marty who was also great. Thanks guys

Gun Emporium is by far the best gun shop i've been to in Victoria! All the staff are really great and dont push sales on you like some shops try to do. They are always happy to order stuff in if not in stock.

Excellent customer service. Staff are enthusiastic and knowledgeble. Prices are competitive with other shops but a little higher. This is easily offset by the level of service provided. I have been going to this shop since 2013 and never had an issue.

The service I received from Adrian was just excellent. He also gave me valuable pointers on sighting in my riffles. No pushing me to buy the most expensive ammunition but just what was needed. I bought ammo for hunting, a shirt and a waterproof jacket. Thanks Adrian. By the way the other gentleman and lady serving were also very nice and helpful.

Friendly and helpful staff who are very patient and took the time to explain everything to me even though I'm new to the sport and asked a lot of rookie questions. Guns are pretty reasonably priced too.

Scam store beware! Ordered 2 steyr 308 mags ONLINE for 89$ each, they then proceeded to ask for 200$ each! After I had already placed an order! Stay away!
-EMAIL FROM THEM-

HI Mark

Thank you for your recent online order,
Unfortunately we are currently out of stock of the Steyr Pro Hunter 308 Mag,
We currently only have the 30-06 left at this price.

We can order this magazine in but the price will now be $200 each.

-
So there mark up is from 89$ to 200$!? Ridiculous.

Extremely helpful team. Go above and beyond to help and advise you on items when asked. Not trying to push their own products onto you and great range of gear

Been shopping here since taking up the hobby and buy the vast majority of what I need here, be it firearms, glass, ammo, accessories etc. Rarely do they not have what i need! Service is top notch and all the staff great to deal with. For sure one of the best stores around Melbourne.

This is one great shop. Adrian and his staff are top in their field. I have known Adrian for many years and his service to me and my colleagues has always been totally professional. This is a shop where the customer comes first and Adrian is one totally honest and fair guy. His deals and prices are possibly the best in Melbourne.

High prices. Then again, in Victoria we're not spoilt for choice due to the lack of competition. Also seems like staff only serves the regulars. Serving me half way, stops to have a chat with who I can only assume to be his mate.

Edit: In all fairness, this store is no good, but other stores I know are worse. Unfortunately, I'll have to return.

First time at the store and it was a Great experience. I am a novice when it comes to shotguns. One of the staff members took their time to explain to me the difference between field and sporting shotguns.
Also going through and showing the different kinds of models. Not only that, he was happy to help.
Greater customer service.

There wasn't any of that pushy salesman attitude, where
'if you where not going to buy today then I am wasting time. '
