Really good and reasonably priced selection and stock of accessories and ammunition. Got a good price on a straighpull shotgun brand new

I have done business on-line with GE (from out-of-state) on two occasions and both experiences have been extremely positive. The first involved the purchase of a telescopic sight. Responses to my email inquiries were received promptly and very helpful. The subsequent purchase was seamless and delivery of the item timely.

The second interaction involved securing a part for the scope. I initially tried to source the component from the Australian supplier who did not respond to my emails. I contacted GE and the staff member advised that he would make inquiries on my behalf.

This was done and I was advised that the component could be supplied but there would be a delay. I complicated the process by being out of the country for a couple of months.

There was a flow of emails to coordinate the transaction and every time the responses were timely and accommodating.

Upon my return the component was supplied to me at no cost.

I consider this excellent customer service and greatly appreciate the efforts of the staff involved.

I have purchased things in the past and I am on their system but for some reason I went in to order a rifle which was $4500. I placed the order and put down $500. However that very same day I called another gun shop who assured me they order the exact same rifle for $4100. When I called im to cancel my order and get a refund they then claimed it was an error on their part and were willing to match the price. I chose to give my business to an honest gun shop so I went ahead and cancelled it asking fir a refund. SHOP AROUND PEOPLE!

By far the worst customer experience of any gun store I’ve been to in Melbourne.

If you’re a beginner looking for some guidance go elsewhere.

I was the only person in the store, asked for some recommendations on what rifle would be suitable, “heaps” was the response.
It was like pulling teeth trying to get the guy to give me some info… nothing, never offered any information about a specific rifle didn’t even leave the far end of the counter to talk to me or show me a rifle.

I can only imagine how difficult after sales assistance would be.

Me and my dad went there to buy a L. A 22LR. We spoke to Tony. He was super friendly and helpful.showed us a couple options for what we wanted. We left with something that satisfied us. He was nice and patient which is something that seems to be hard to come by in most firearm stores these days. Beautiful shop as well. Thank you.

Not really impressed to be honest. Spent a few k there a couple of months ago, most of the guys seem ok but one makes you feel like it's an effort for him to serve you.

I won't mention names but because of that and the fact that he wasn't interested in looking after me even though 3+k was spent and he knew I was only getting started.

Now I will do all my buying elsewhere, where I feel appreciated as a as a customer who spends good coin and brings plenty business to the store.

Staff helped me to mount my new scope with my new rifle bought from them. However I found that not balanced each side. And hard to zero it.

So I bought a torque screwdriver to try to re-install by myself. It should not exceed 18 inch/pounds of torque on the ring's screws. I can't unscrew it until set to 35 inch/pounds of torque for 3 of screws.

I've been here a couple of times now. Prices a fair, the store is well stocked. Staff have been knowledgeable, friendly and welcoming. Looking forward to my next visit.

If I want to say What is different between Gun Emporium and other stores in Victoria: friendly and helpful experience, nice people with good knowledge about this business, best price in 5 or 6 stores I've been to in Victoria and they will find what you like to buy with best price and best quality. As a complete novice, getting good advice is better than price for me - but the prices are competitive too. Already a return customer after buying a rifle, and the advice on ammo has been spot-on. When fitting my scope they went the extra mile - retail as it should be and don't see much point in shopping around from here on in. Sorted.
Reassuring to see some women on staff too and gives me confidence to being my partner in (who's a keen shot). Massive tick of approval.

Started going to Gun Emporium as it was the closest dealer and have now purchased a variety of items including optics, ammo and accessories. Found the pricing to be competitive, the variety of products and brands available in-shop to be good and the staff helpful, particularly my go to gun guru Marty whose advice has steered me to better options. If they don't stock an item, they'll happily order it in for you. If they sell you a product that doesn't fit the purposes, ive found they exchange it without any drama. Happy to recommend Gun Emporium and Marty for your shooting needs.

This is a great gun shop. It has everything one could want from the casual plinking of an air gun to the serious shooter. Very helpful staff.

Been in a couple of times, and no issue having a look at what interested me, no pressure to buy which is nice. Prices are ok its up to the consumer to shop around if you don't like it. I did get an outstanding deal on a good safe which was a random buy. Will go back defiantly.
