This is a very decent place with good quality food but prepare your wallet to loosen up if you are planning to visit there, huge parking space, polite girls taking your order. The restaurant picks up call even on busy days which is helpful to keep update about your pickup orders on weekends. The most annoying thing about the place is the location of sitting area (almost 70% of sitting area gets huge blow of cool breeze when ever someone enters the restaurant). The songs played are of different language (Punjabi and hindi) which according to staff gives background culture touch of north India for there main targeted customers who are far from home.

I ordered food via ubereats. They are charging 7 dollars for 3 spoons of gajar halwa.ridiculous. There prices are increasing with each passing day.

The service was too slow. The chicken vindaloo was too salty and when we told them it was salty, they just took it back and just added a lot of spice with no change to the saltiness.

I ordered Chicken Fried Rice and got Briyani Rice with Chicken tikka cubes. Chicken Fried Rice contains Vegetables, Fried Chicken and egg. The Rice remains white. The one I got Rice was Brown as in Briyani.

Best restaurant in Melbourne. Very good food and equally good service. Curries tasted fresh. Best of luck

Order one paneer masala curry which is very sweet. Seems like chef forget the recipe and put lots of sugar and chilli powder in just tomato purée sauce.very Disappointed to order. I viewed another customer has the same complaint.

This is a fantastic Indian restaurant with the most authentic Indian curries i have frequented in a while, good atmosphere with outstanding Indian food, they’ve earned a recurrent customer.

One of the best Indian i have had. I am regular customer and have never been disappointed. Needless to say the service is very good as well. Attentive managers as well. Kudos to the team.

Not great. We ordered chicken dish tasted like chicken that had been cooked in a pan and then mixed with the sauce. No way was it traditional.

I have to say though that, they can definitely improve their customer service. Staff is not trained and attentive enough. They always seem to be under pressure and nervous about something, even though restaurant doesn't even look that busy. But other than that everything else is good. We go there quite a Lot.

Food is good but service was very bad today. Took so long to get the order. Ordered staff to bring something but they didnt. In the main course forgot to note the order. Very poor service

Amazing experience. First of all the atmosphere was good with light indian music and nice interior decor. The food was more than delicious (and of course spicy). We ordered their specialty chicken dish and the lamb biryani. Both were really good and make you feel like you traveled to India for a second. The chef cooked a non spicy lamb biryani for our kid who couldn't eat the spicy one, and didn't charge us for it! Thanks guys for the great experience.

Great Indian restaurant that I have now been coming back again and again. Reliably good food with the butter chicken and briyani being an absolute fave of my crew but everything on their menu is well balanced and tastes fresh. Definitely worth a visit or take away!

I won’t be recommending this place anymore to anyone.we got our entree after 1 hour and 15 min. Spoiled my son’s 3rd birthday party. Never gonna go back.guest were so disappointed and were ready to go to Mc Donald’s cross the road. They messed up with whole order. Few people haven’t got their entree. Veg people got non veg and non veg people got veg food.they are not well prepared and professionally trained. Chefs are too slow.

The entree is good; veg curries are okay, expensive if you compare against the value of the food.

Overall - Given there are multiple good Indian restaurants, they should look into their pricing, and hygiene (saw various flies hovering over our food).

Customer service is good but could be better especially when the restaurant is busy, customer service shouldn't be affected if the restaurant is busy.
Still its a highly recommended place to go.

Visited first time yesterday and complete wastage of money.m very upset with the taste of curries.i ordered hot spicy paneer tikka masala but the one which i got was too sweet and sour tasted like if it has been cooked in just tomato sauce.moreover chicken masala horrible.will never recommend to anyone

I ordered chilli chicken which wasn’t cooked at all, I showed it to the staff too but she wasn’t bothered about it.adding to dat der was no chilli, n the other ingredients which make It chilli chicken.
Went to Gulmohar almost after 3-4 months.becoz last time too chicken was not proper n was upset about it.but now neither I’ll go der nor recommend anybody

Awesome place to be. Must try veg full thali in lunch during weekdays. Excellent service and fair price indeed. Will definitely visit again and again ️
