Grill'd Camberwell reviews
51 Love the burgers and great chips!
Not a lot of options for the kids. But they serve beer!
Loud, chaotic mess. Avoid this torturous place. Go to the Hawthorn one instead for a superior experience.
Phoned my order through. Usually will order on site. Was told it would take about 10-15 mins. Arrived about 5 mins after I ordered as I was in Camberwell when I ordered. It was very busy. Was still waiting 25 mins after I ordered so thought I would check the order.it had been sitting on the shelf for who knows how long. Was cold by the time I got to eat it. With the number of staff they had on not sure how this could happen. I was listening intently for them to call my name but they never did.
Great place to catch up and hang out for a great meal! Great service and awesome food. Staff are friendly.
From experience best Grill'd in the Eastern suburbs. Guys keep it up! You have a loyal customer
Understand during COVID it can be quite busy, but we went on a Friday night and it was absolute chaos. End result was cold chips, and a Hot Bird that was 1 million scovilles
Really enjoyed my experiences here last year and the year before but my last two occasions have been disappointing. I always bring my children here to have the mini me packs which they love. The time before last my daughters burger was so undercooked I had ask for it to be cooked again. The staff member was very good and got it taken back but it took so long to arrive that we had to take it away with us. And then my daughter didn’t want to eat it as it was cold. That’s not Grilld’s fault of course but it would have been nice to all eat together. I should have asked for a refund but I didn’t expect it to take so long. Then last time
I went with just my son and the same thing happened with my burger, although his was fine. I had the Melbourne as I usually do but the meat was so raw that it didn’t appear to be cooked at all. I don’t mind a bit of pink but this was raw. The staff member took it back for me. What confused me was that the staff then had a loud conversation about it. They replaced my burger and it arrived quickly which was great. The burger itself was perfect and tasty as I come to expect. It’s just awkward having to send things back and it’s puzzling how the meat was so raw on too occasions. I will still come back and I’m sure I was just unlucky those times as it is normally very good.
One of the best grilld experiences ever. I am a regular at grill'd because burgers, but this was the first time I had visited the Camberwell location. I walked in knowing what I wanted and one of the staff members was standing at the counter waiting to greet me and take my order. She took it with such passion and care, as though her soul purpose was to serve me. She was lovely and patient with me and even offered to sign me up to the relish club which i kindly declined as I hate spelling out my last name to people and having the awkward small talk convo about where I am from. At the end she confirmed my order which I appreciated, but obviously it was correct and she was such a good employee (kind of mad I didn't get her name so she could get ackowledged for her efforts)
I chose to sit in one of the booths even though I was travelling solo and none of the staff members seemed to act judgememtal that I have zero friends, which I really appreciated. The music was also very chill and created a layed back atmosphere, it consisted of songs people would recognise, but not the trashy oberplayed stuff.
Whilst the wait for my food took awhile, it was worth it. No faults at all, the chips were seasoned to perfection and the burger was assembled so caringly with the perfect ratio of each ingredient, and I was even offered tomato sauce, which was an offer I took up. To top it off the sauce came in an easy squeeze bottle, perfect for those who are a lil hesitant about the sauce's offerings.
Whilst I could have downed another eight burgers, I restatined myself as I had other business to attend to.
However I had one more place to visit before my departure. The bathroom. Unsuprisingly they blew me away. They are spacious have a sink and toilet in the same room, there is ample toilet paper and have cute plants to admire whilst you do your business, a lil bit messy but nothing shocking
Also have a cute mirror which is located to the side so you dont have to avoid eye contact with yourself whilst you pee
Overall 10/10 would reccomend
Nice to see that Grill'd camberwell are giving opportunities to the deaf. Nice girl at the counter somehow got the name given to her 'Daniel' as 'Ned' which led to an hours wait. And even after that she'd put the wrong order. Maybe hire people who listen?
A good location for another Grill’d store, close to Camberwell Station, on Burke Road. Delicious vegetarian burger, tasty fries - also available chicken or beef. Licenced. Good incentive - raising money for local communities with their beer-cap-in-the jar fundraiser thing.
Sauce containers not filled up fully, woulda thought rich folks around Camberwell would be more generous. Classic Scrooge Mcduck syndrome up in here!
Live close-by so come here regularly, only time I’m disappointed is when I’ve run out of room in my stomach for more! Staff ALWAYS greet with a smile and ask me how food is
Go there every Friday night with the family, burgers are top quality! Delicious low carb bun and salads for a healthier option, INCREDIBLE chips highly recommend the traditional grilled chips and sweet potato ones. Staff are attentive and kind, clean environment and bathrooms. BEST RESTAURANT EVER!
Disappointing - I gave Grill'd Camberwell 4 stars a year ago but today the bun was burned, too much mayo and the pineapple seemed thinner. They replaced it when I complained and the waitress apologized but the chef/cook didn't have much of a care factor.
I see myself as a Grill'd lover, constantly having the franchise as a top choice for food. This particular Grill'd however was sadly disappointing when it comes to what I expect from a beloved burger joint. The staff were not particularly friendly or helpful, and definitely didn't do anything above the bare minimum. Food was average at best, and at a Grill'd standard was simply disappointing. The venue itself was lackluster with the seat arrangements being unusual and quite inconvenient. If you're looking for a nice meal, explore other options. There are many more that will definitely yield better results
Honestly these guys in Camberwell mess up more often than not, which is really disappointing for a usually really great food chain.
I've had the chicken in my burger burnt on two occasions, and the chips forgotten/missed out of my order a separate 3 times; requiring me to chase them up for it.
The store has a great layout, and definitely great food. It's just a bit sad when it seems some employees are consistently dropping the ball at this one.
This is the best Grill'd I've been too:) even when they are busy they are so happy to help if you're a first timer. The interior design is just so awesome! Lots of different seating styles to choose from:)
I love the low carb bun with the vegie patties, so good. And some awesome drinks to choose like a sparkling prebiotic drink:) oh and the avo chips! Gosh I'm craving this meal now. #pregnancycravings
My only wish is would it be a little cheaper. Very good quality healthy burgers.
Lovely and helpful staff. The quality of food is good but the music is very loud all the time and you have to finish your food quickly and run away, no time for enjoying your food.
Vegan only Mondays, just wasted our time going tonight, we came for burgers, not veggies; so we went to Chargrill Charlies, better burgers around corner. Grilled is a joke bowing to Vegan political pressure.
For a large burger chain this one does pretty well. Take your kids, have a beer, in and out quickly and cheaply.
