69The food is so delicious and fresh here, with a high turnover. Have had a wide range of items on the menu and all were great.
I'm glad I took the advice from the bright young lady at the counter today to order the entree size and not the main size for the Gyro Platter!
The lamb and chicken were both juicy and tender, and served with Greek salad, chips, tzatziki and a REAL pita bread freshly made.
A big meal well worth the $20 bucks!
The outdoor tables got the afternoon sun which is a blessing in wintertime.
Highly recommended. I'll be back.
Have been here twice. The first time I loved it. The second time was quite average and their Turkish delight is not nice at all.
Run by all indian staff on a Sunday, Giro was very dry and lacked hardly any garlic sauce. No love put into it. Wife got mixed chicken and lamb and was about 90% chicken and 10% lamb. Dry as well. Don’t recommend for the money, plenty of better places around.
Best greek food in the Niddrie and Essendon area. Whilst waiting for a order I had a friendly conversation with the owner and they threw in a free greek chocolate bar.
Tasty ans generous portions.

The food delivered was cold. Have you had cold chips before? Cold Souva? Not very appetising is it? Very disappointed this time round. Took an hour to be delivered. Please have a word to the Uber driver's. They could be the cause of you losing future business.
Just had an Uber delivery and even tho most was good, my Souvlaki was too small for the money. And most souv's come with lettuce, not mine.

Walked in and thought it was now an Indian take away. Service was terrible, waited 40 min get get my order of mixed gyros meats, pita and dip. What a shame, and discrimination; they just give preferences for some items of the menu. Very Bad Service and Food Quality
Excellent food meat is so fresh its just melts in your mouth, i would rate this store as 1 of the best greek food in Melbourne, do yourself favour try it
Totally overpriced and their online menu is misleading. We ordered the mix grill platter for $39 and online menu says it comes with 2 of everything - totally misleading as there was only one of everything in the box. When we told the store they didn’t really care or even offer to fix the problem. Terrible service and they weren’t even Greeks running the place. First and last time - Never again!
Mouthwatering Greek food. Last night i orederd a main platter and the meat is awesome and juicy i loved it. No one can compare this food in Melbourne
The food it is not that bad. I never see in my hole life soo expensive souvlaki shop.it is much cheaper to eat at the best restaurant than it there.you need to pay over 50$ a person to eat there.i feel soo bad i payed all that money to eat there.it is not about the money i get upset it is about i know how much the have to charge people.why you rip-off the customers why? Plus the customer service it is bad i can say rude.the owner it is a good man but he have to put the price down and see the staff the work there to be nice with people.not all of the staff.
The mix grilled for two was amazing to eat also if I got it take away.

In my opinion, the best souvlaki I've ever had. These guys are really consistent too. I can also recommend the chicken, lamb and pork. Great food, I highly recommend this business.
Very average service. Older lady taking orders at the cashier seemed disinterested. The bread used for their Gyros is thick and takes away from the Gyros itself.
Greek Yefseis previously served brilliant souvlaki/ gyro I had been a regular since they opened. However, I have ordered twice in the past couple of months and I was appalled on the last two occasions by quality and taste of the food. The first time I received the terrible souvlaki/gyro I decided to give them a benefit of doubt because they had in the past been so good and may have had one off night. Unfortunately this was not the case it was inedible on both occasions, so bad that it had to be thrown out. I dont usually write reviews but I am compelled to warn people if you know good greek food then you would not appreciate paying for and consuming the inferior products you will be served up. It is a shame as I said they used to serve up great food something has definatley changed in the past few months.
Terrible souvlaki and bread. This review system needs some more honest reviews. Will never eat here again; the business is lucky to be on a prominent melbourne road. Harsh but honest - I feel bad for writing this review- sorry owners.
