Gracebrook Vineyards reviews
37Disappointing. We were refused service due to a high influx of customers even through there were countless free tables available. The website says nothing about booking in advance.
Absolutely awesome experience with great friends Jan and David, enjoying delicious food and wine in a delightful venue and we hope one day we get back to enjoy the it again the family run winery again.
Amazing wine, food and service.this place is amazing and wonderful. You can even bring your dog, if you dine outside. We visit every year we come to the King Valley
Wow! Great wines, very traditional methods. Incredible gardens that they source fresh produce from. Friendly, unpretentious and promt service. My favourite winery experience in the King Valley this far. Had a grazing plate for $38 and expected maybe a few slices of cured meats and pehaps one cheese and got an incedible amount of dips and fruit, the list goes on. Very good value. 10/10
Probably the best cellar door in the King. The wine is gorgeous, the food massively underpriced for its level of quality and the service is down to earth, warm and no fuss. Dont forget to take a stroll through the farm yard after your visit and say hello to Sam the sambar deer.
A little bit out of the way but well worth the trip. The wines are amazing and the food quality is top notch without breaking the bank.
We had the perfect Sunday lunch there to finish a great Australia Day week wnd in the King Valley. The staff is welcoming, the venue is wonderful and the food is great. It is the perfect stop, especially if you have kids!
Great service, lovely helpful staff, great food, amazing wine and to be able to walk round and see the farm animals was what the kids loved the best.
Lovely wine and delicious food! The quail was to die for. The building itself is unique and interesting, and the staff were all very friendly and accommodating.
Delicious food and prompt service. Offers inside dining and outside on spacious decking or lawned area under umbrellas or shady trees! The assortment of animals makes a must to visit super kid freindly venue!
I'm usually sceptical when it comes to platters, especially those priced at $38. We rolled the dice on Sunday and ordered up two to share between 4 people and, after competing in the King Valley Challenge, we were hungry! What was brought to the table was great. Pity there's no ability to upload a photo to go with this review. Quality of food was fantastic and plenty of it. Coupled with a bottle of Gracebrook Sangiovese sitting out in the sun, a beautiful, relaxing afternoon was had by all.
Really nice, relaxed cellar door, which is actually a converted old barn/horse stables by the look of it. Very large inside and with some modern features (such as decent heating) is a great place to have lunch.
Speaking of lunch - it was excellent! Delicious food was had by all, and of course they have the wines to complement.
Child friendly, so highly recommended.
Overpriced and terribly limited menu. Their grazing platter was $38 for what was the best part lettuce! Loved their Muscato wine though, its really worth trying. Also we sat near the back corner and pretty much smelt toilets the whole time!: - (I also noted that they wash their dishes right next to the area they prepare the food.
Best quality and best priced wines we found in the King River Valley. Lunch was great and the service fast and friendly.
Excellent cellar door with a broad range of wines to taste, nice gardens with pigs and rabbits running round, beautiful views over the King Valley, and the food was done perfectly with the meat tender and the vegetables complimenting everything
The Facility 10/10
The View 10/10
The Wine 8/10
The Food 10/10
This is one of the best all round restaurants we have been to. We are pretty much regulars there now, the only warning I have is this -
"once you go to Gracebrook its hard to go out for food anywhere else again" It really is the benchmark for King Valley food choices and a great family run atmosphere that really makes you feel warm and welcome. Do recommend highly.
