Love this place!
The team here are amazing and welcoming, and you're always greeted with a smile.
The gyms clean and comfortable and if there's a problem we can report it to the front desk and get it taken care of ASAP,
The new vending machines mean when I continuously forget my drink I'm not left thirsty and I can grab a protein bar on the way out even during unstaffed hours.
I've been a member at a fair few gyms none of them with a team this lovely and comforting and will actually have a laugh with you.
I love the renovations they've done and would recommend this gym 10/10.

Variety of classes. Confortable amenities. I love my yoga there! Affordable prices, you can use other venues in the city.

I've just joined Goodlife Essendon transferring from another gym, I love this Gym, The environment and staff are amazing and they are all super welcoming.
The gyms clean and accessible and there's a decent range of equipment, but mainly the staff are amazing I actually signed up to PT sessions with Chantelle with the help of Vanessa she matched us perfectly.highly recommend for the environment alone the nice gym is just a bonus.

Fairly recently renovated. Friendly staff and great trainers. Awesome, plentiful and reliable equipment. Good space for a range of exercise types. And no pretensions.

Disorganised, dirty, most of the weights placed in wrong spot, poor spacing between equipment, didn't enjoy being there

Absolute parasites, Refuse to honour contracts/cancellations and will attempt to bill and threaten you over a year later. Steer well clear and do not sign anything or believe anything this useless gym offers you.

Helpful and friendly staff. Love the classes. Love how spacious the gym is. I honestly don't know why I didn't sign up before!

This is the worst gym I have ever been to.the staff aren't friendly at all and it doesn't have a good vibe.the parking is a nightmare unless you are there when Bunnings is closed. I had a two year membership and wouldn't recommend this place.

Got a trial membership with promise of refund if cancelled within the cool off period.
Cancelled my membership and they still charge me $50 a week later.
Avoid at all costs, will now have to waste my time chasing a refund.
The gym is overcrowded at all times and poorly maintained.

I’ve been a member for nearly ten years now and I was genuinely very disappointed. My friend drove all the way to my gym at Goodlife Essendon to do an Arena Fitness class as it was not blocked off on the public holiday and online the class was available. After booking the session the day before we arrived to the class to find out it wasn’t running and no trainer had rocked up, no notice in advance was listed online either. As someone recommending this gym and the fitness class to a friend, it was embarrassing to make her come along to such disappointment. The classes must be blocked off on days that it is unavailable to stop such an inconvenience in the future. Im rating the gym 3 stars because the receptionist who received my feedback was genuinely lovely and I appreciated that even though I was not impressed.

Terrible experience where they are quick to take money but forget to align their membership accounts when someone cancels.

Very dodgy business model! Every member is on a different rate and they're never clear on the prices! They'll over charge so keep an eye on the charges! The reps get commission on every new signup.

This gym plays the worst music known to man. I would suggest louder and higher energy music to get the blood PUMPING. Solid gym though. Lacking in quantity of cable accessories.

Large, well equipped and well lit gym with decent facilities. It gets really busy on weeknights though.

They are Theives, just money ripper as you once enter into contract, you are gone. Haven't use service from last 11 month and paying 16 something every week. Be aware, don't know how many people getting robbed.

After resigning back up and the sign up fee to be waived, it was taken out of my account and I've chased the refund for weeks and weeks now only to be fed incorrect info everytime I call. 3 days, 5 days, 7 day and now 10 days for a refund! Seems like they have no idea what they are doing here. Easy to take your money but can't offer a refund correctly. Poor service.

Very good gym. But if you are being signed up by Katherine be careful she would lie to your face and tell could do a better price and would go on to say she doesn't remember so the best thing get everything in writing in an email. Don't trust her. Same with the customer relationship manager Matthew they are not helpful at all after you sign up. I had to go through the head office to get things sorted.

After moving away, i am locked in a contract for a year when i said 6 months and didn't know it was a contract. Also got told i could leave at any time which was a lie. There advice on the phone when they were trying to squeeze money out of me was, advertise and try and sell your contract online or pay the $270 cancellation fee. I picked the $27 ish a week option but an extra payment of $40 ontop comes out a month for idk what reason. I didnt really see any fat people too, which makes sense.
