Staff were friendly, however this Bakery is the McDonald's of the bakery world.

The Mushroom pie had no Mushrooms in it, the Homestyle Sausage roll was bland. The coffee was bitter and can only be described as disappointing.

Unless you want mass produced doughnuts and jam tarts, maybe give this place a miss.

The best place to go and relax, eat great food and enjoy a happy environment. The staff are lovely and the food is absolutely delicious.

You should try the “Donut Vanilla Slice”!
Amazing! The staff are friendly and nice. The pastry are amazing and they’re free easy parking or a drive through. Coffee is really nice. Highly recommended

Very cramped drive thru and car park. Needs a menu in view at the order window. Other than that food is great.

Probably the best hedgehog slice in town. Pretty good coffee too, well worth it for an afternoon snack

Home style sausage rolls are excellent.
Love their caramel slice too.
Plus coffee was good.
Visit regularly at various locations.

Vanilla slice is something else. Every time
I come down here to visit I have at least 3 in a week before I go home. Also tried the golden nugget as I was not sure what that was and it was really delicious. Peppermint slice is also a banger. Drive thru bakery? What a genius idea.

The potatoes topped pie was good, but the vanilla slice was excellent, very creamy vanilla custard filling.

How disappointing this was. Pie was overly thick with crust. The coffee tasted like instant. I had much higher expectations. I had better coffee at 711.

YUM! The salad roll was so fresh and delicious. The bread roll was like the old days, and so fresh, not soggy at all! The salad had crunch and flavour and so delicious. The hedgehog slice was how I remember them to be, soft and fresh, and very chocolaty. Will be going again, and again. Fantastic, friendly and fast service. Highly recommend.

Love love this place food taste great and was worth it value for money. The lovely ladies working there this morning were great very patient and welcoming.

Loved the food, it was delicious and the coffee is amazing. I am a very fussy coffee drinker, and was really happily surprised.

Drive-thru bakery who wouldn't love this? ! Unfortunately there is always a line up in the drive-thru nearly all day! To the credit of the Golden Nugget they handle customers orders fast. The menu is amazing and you can get anything a bakery usually makes. The choc eclairs are BANGIN'

Awesome bakery. We go here everytime we are in Ballarat. Has all your cakes, slices and donuts. Bread, coffee and even your daily paper. The staff are always friendly and polite.

Excellent produce which is why I keep going back but customer service is missing a few IQ points. For example I ordered 6 vanilla slice but they placed it on the bain marie and the slice was warmed up. Best to keep it simple.
