Golden Chain Quays Motel

Stayed here for 2 nights mid Jan with my son. Great staff (smiles all round), surprisingly the room was cleaned after the first night, wasn't expecting that, and the room was very clean and smelled nice and fresh. Thanks to all at the Quays for a great 2 night stay, definately see you again.

5 beds for the price normally pay for 2: D. Kitchen could have been a bit better but that's motel standards.

Very clean and well appointed rooms.

Situated in front of water front scenery. Take dogs for a walk and nice restaurants around. Affordable price. Nice and clean

I made the booking over booking.com without much reaching and end of the stay I can say with satisfaction that it was a nice stay.
Customer service: 4 > good, friendly and welcoming. Scope of improvement with pre and post communication
Room: 5> nice, clean and tidy. At a budget motel it was beyond expectation. Well done.
Toilet & Shower: 3> clean but too old setting. Time to renovate. Hot water inefficient, takes long time to come.
Bed quality 4: good, semi-farm mattresses, quality pillows with extras, quality quilts and donna. Best rest could be better.
Exterior 5: simple but beautiful and attractive, specious front yard.
Price: 4 > reasonable

Downside: old window type air-condition system? It was making terrible noise and disturbed in sleep badly. Replacement is must. Government rebate may help.

Checked in on 2nd June and checked out on the 3rd. I was happy to have Ron the receptionist who is helpful and patience upon checking in. Greeted me with a warmth welcome and greeted me farewell upon checking out.
The condition of the room is remarkable and service is great. Strongly recommend

I made a reservation through Booking.com, but it was not available as a double booking. Worse, this trip was a bicycle tour, and I had no place to spend the night in an unknown place.
The owner of this place was really kind and called another place nearby to confirm. I would like to visit again next time

We arrived late & Ron was very accommodating. Room was clean & spacious, comfortable beds. Easy 5min walk to shops. Large parking area for motorcyclists loaded for Phillip Island.

Clean rooms with everything you need for a comfortable and relaxing stay. Staff are very friendly and welcoming. The attention to detail is fantastic and the service is great. Competitive prices with no compromise on accommodation requirements.

A must stay when visiting Phillip Island. A warm and friendly welcome from Ron and Joanne. Immaculate and comfortable rooms with all the amenities. Ideally located a couple of steps from shops, cafes and restaurants. Thank you Ron and Joanne for my wonderful stay. It was nice to meet you both. I will be back.

Ron is the most friendly, welcoming motel owner I’ve come across. Comfortable beds, large rooms with plenty of hot water and water pressure in the shower and great services. He also remembered my name and our plans when I walked into the office to check out, without looking me up.

Awsome place to stay if your visiting Philip Island either the GP race track or the fairy penguins. Great price great staff plenty of parking

After a long drive this was a quality stop over, (one of my top 5 in AU) super helpfull operator, amenities are excellent, well priced and variety of snaks, room was immaculate, water pressure amazing!
Quays is across the road from the bay so I left feeling inspired.
Down the road is fuel shops and the bridge to phillip island, the Sorrento ferry crossing too.
I recomend going that little bit extra and booking a spa room.

This hotel was excellent, great value for money, with a very friendly atmosphere and clean rooms. It was colder than expected on our trip, but we were pleasantly surprised with an electric blanket! A very welcome touch. We'll be back to this place!

Immaculately clean & attention paid to the tiniest detail.however the pillows need to be changed, not comfortable at all.

Great stay. Lovely manager checked me in. Lots of good local information. Large room, comfy bed, hot strong shower, lovely and clean, safe location for single female travellers. Highly recommend.
