Gold Nugget Tourist Park reviews
65Stayed here over the Queen’s Birthday long weekend, lovely park with exceptional staff and customer service. Owners were very friendly, attentive and accommodating, nothing was too much trouble. Great to be allowed a fire pit during winter. Spacious set up. Even though communal facilities (games room, camp kitchen, pool area) were closed due to COVID, there was still plenty to amuse the kids. Our 12 & 15 year old boys also loved that there was a footy oval within a short bike-riding distance, also great to be able to ride into town and around the lake. Courtesy bus from the Huntly Pub were happy to pick us up for a fantastic pub meal. A few minutes down the road from the Bendigo Pottery which is a great spot with plenty to see. Will definitely be back to this place, absolutely loved it.
Very friendly clean park Colin and Shirley went out of there way to forward on a miss placed whallet. Thank you for your help
Owner rude, l called to see the prices and to see if my cat can stay there as well.so l changed my mind with his bad attitude.
Great park, clean and tidy
No traffic noise as sites are set back from the road
On the list to come back to
Very nice park. Would be 5 stars but I recall seeing on website the pool was heated which it most certainly was not. Great sites, close to amenities and great for kids. Babies bathroom, lots of play grounds, jumping pillow (which could have done with a shade cover as got quite warm), chess and more! In a good.location not too far from shops and tram stops.
A great small park. Very pretty and tidy. Highly recommend. Maybe should have done only 4 stars because sites very small.
Have previously stayed here and recommended this caravan park, but never again. Previous stay was under $35 a night for a powered site. (This was no more than 2 months ago) Just went to book a powered site for this coming Monday night, and was told it would be $68 (Top Park Member) for the same powered site. What a rip off. You have lost me forever and I will continue to tell everyone how this park is a rip off.
Great park. Stayed 4 weeks didn't want to leave. Quiet. Reception staff and grounds staff helpful and friendly. Great for kids. Amenities were very clean and spotless and modern even has air con for cooling and heating. Has a dog wash if you have your pooch with you. Large camp kitchen, swimming pool, large recreational room, go cart bikes for kids.
Would highly recommend.
Cabins are dated and basic, but offer value for money for families when you take into account the pool, BBQ area, trampoline and other amenities.
Very good value. Nice park that allows dogs. Very quiet. TV didn't work. Fair way out of Bendigo city.
Staff were really friendly. Camp kitchen well-equipped and bathrooms very clean. We unfortunately had to pitch our tent on ground with NO grass, which felt like sleeping on concrete and made everything very dusty/dirty. Other than that, good value and a good experience.
Very nice caravan park well run amenities are spotless. It is a fairly big caravan park and the prices are good give it a try you may be surprised.
Excellent place great camp kitchen, showers are fresh and clean also Lady's showers has a bath tub pool is warm for those cool days, good play area for the kids and game room with jumping pillow. And the owner's have a good attitude with a big smile. Thanks also being close to the road you here nothing.
Everything provided as listed for our deluxe cabin, except chair broke on porch when sat on and was not replaced during our weekend stay. Games room is dated but entertaining enough as is the jump bag next to it. Very good cooling and beds in deluxe cabin.
Nice Friendly no hesitation to help out, printed my concert tickets for me, so very thankful.
Tidy, good Ensuites
This is a great place to stay a few nights and explore Bendigo. It has great amenities that are clean and modern. The camp kitchen is large and has everything you need.
Lovely clean cabins and all the grounds are well maintained.
The toilets, showers and bbq areas are all kept perfectly tidy and well looked after
Great place to stay
Good clean tidy park with putt putt, pool, tennis basketball court, playground free loan videos and books. Aldi. Woolworths supermarket and petrol close by
During a recent holiday, my elderly mother was left by herself near Bendigo after my father was sent to a hospital in Melbourne. The wonderful people at the Gold Nugget Tourist Park not only ensured that she had everything she needed but also went to great lengths to return her mobile phone after she left it behind. We are extremely grateful and thoroughly recommend them.
The staff went out of their way to find us accommodation after a long day traveling cabins were very clean and comfortable we will be back
