After our over the initial phone consultation with our lawyer Ali, we were releived and then being able to sleep a full night for the first time in 3 nights
The follow up email from Ali detailed and reminded us of the points discussed over the phone.
Now we have the waiting in confidence until Ali obtains the details of the alledged evidence from the police.

During the consultation, Tanguy @ GTC Lawyers immediately understood my circumstances and unlike my previous lawyer who was adamant a job offer was the deal breaker to my 155 visa being granted, Tanguy looked for alternative merits in my situation. He recognised the difficulty I was having in securing a job outside of Australia to justify my substantial ties in the short time frame I had to reply to DHA's request for more info, whilst not holding appropriate work rights.
