Go To Court Lawyers

Wrote a long email twice asking if I would act on my behalf in a civil case. Answer: nada, rien, nothing, nothing. If they work like this you go from rain to licorice.

Very UNhelpful, LAZY will pass you around and charge you everytime they do it. THEN They wont even bother to contact you regarding the outcomes, when asked reply was "sorry no i didnt intend to contact you" money grubbers for sure.

Call them for advice, - they said $300 for first appointment, don't really wanted to know the problem.

These people fully lied to me. And not being a lawyer and being able to know they were was interesting in itself. It was so obvious that it was pathetic. These people are parasites that will prey on those that are naive enough to let them. STAY AWAY!

Initial consult is $395, comes unprepared which minus 10 min of time to find documents and leaves 10 min early, so you paid for one hour but get 40min.

Only points out the unlikelihood of legal success and the quoted price of $10-15,000 if I decide to proceed to court. The alternative is then offered to write a basic legal letter for $990 which I can write by myself. Other lawyers charge $200-300 for a similar letter.

No real solutions and only negatives pointed out.

Unfortunately I had to reduce my initial 4 star review to 1 as it’s as low as I can rate it. The review below spoke glowingly of this firm as I had only had my initial consult. Not only was I given the wrong advice, but when I went to the Melbourne Family Circuit Court to lodge the documents, they wouldn’t accept the paperwork as it was so flawed. They instructed me to go away and seek further alternative advice before presenting again. As a disability support pensioner on a very limited budget, I thought I would try to resolve it with them, seeing as I had already paid them. I was referred to a senior member who did nothing but fob me off. Some months later, I finally obtained the information that I needed. Go To Court Lawyers are a shopfront for lawyers who obviously need a medium for drumming up business. That says it all.

My initial consult was fantastic, Madeline gave me the exact advice I needed and the directions to move forward to handle my family law case independently. Wish I’d contacted her before now. We’ll see how it pans out, but I would rate 5 stars based on my initial consult. Relieving to know I can call on her if I need to.

Well for my first ever phone appointment with a lawyer, or ever speaking to one, I was very impressed. Considering I am very young and stuck in a situation I've never been in before, I was impressed at how both Danielle and Ulas were. I learnt a fair bit, had no questions to ask as it was explained thoroughly and with extremely clear English. I am proud to have Ulas support me in the near future, as I believe he's a very thorough lawyer and seems to be very good at his job. He's also very easy to talk to. His timing was impeccable, right as the clock hit 4pm, my phone rang, this made me very pleased. Danielle was very helpful and extremely kind, upon my initial call to GTCL. All in all, one very pleased customer and I'm sure my opinion isn't going to change.

My son had to appear in court in early January which made it difficult to engage a lawyer at such a short period of time and over the Xmas period. I did fell I had to chase up for proceedings as I like to be organized and was feeling a bit anxious of the unknown but other than that they were very professional and we were happy with the result. Not sure about value as they were the first to be contacted and no other quote obtained.

The solicitor that I had did a very good job of explaing the law to me and giving me the advice on how to proceed. He was fun to talk to, understanding and considerate in my case. I would use him again

As I only required some advise until my case goes further Elizabeth was very clear and frank or honest as to my potential issues and her advise has assisted me in which direction to go once my situation moves forward. Will I engage her down the line.to be honest not sure as her fees seem to be expensive to me but for the hour on the phone I can honestly say her advise definitely helped me

Having dealt with few Lawyers over the last few years, I can confidently say that Bronwyn Gibson is one of the BEST. Here is why and anyone can judge for him or herself:

Joanna was great but I was a bit confused about the way her advice conflicted with the advice I got with the phone solicitor. They had completely opposite opinions, which seems unprofessional to me. Surely, the law is consistent. How can two lawyers have opinions which are so opposite when it comes to the same thing?

Lisa was excellent. Highly recommended. However help her to do the best for you by preparation. For example list the problems; what supporting evidence do you have etc.
