What a fabulous place! Great job done by the new owners to create a world class restaurant and cellar door. Highly recommended for a superb meal, great view and very friendly service.

Service is absolutely lovely. The food is expensive but tastes too good to be true. If you’re looking for a quiet place to eat with an amazing view and lovey wine this is a must.

Our first time back since they took over Vera and we were disappointed. We waited for an hour and a half for our meals. Steak was okay, yet the Jollof rice was bland and literally had only 5 small slices of squid in it. Kids meal is pricey $17 for just 1 piece of small battered fish (that looks like a battered flat head tail from a fish and chip shop), a handful of chips, and tomato sauce. Atmosphere and settings are a plus though.

I rarely comment on restaurants and even more rarely would give 5 stars. This was a surprise for me - my first time there last Friday night. The menu is really well thought out and has some South African magic. The food was superb and what really impressed was it all arrived at the perfect temperature. The last time I experienced things this well executed in regional Australia was at Stefano's cellar in Mildura. In my opinion Glenbosch is that good.
Wines were excellent as expected from Beechworth, service great and very nice people, a great high quality local feel to the place. The food, however, was truly something else and rates with the best I have had in numerous countries.

The food was delicious, and the restuarant itself beautiful, in a stunning location with lovely prosecco. The biggest let down was the service, I'm not sure if the waitress serving us was having a bad day, but her attitude and lack of interest was quite obvious. For example, at one point my father spilt a drink, no one offered to come help, we waved someone down who placed a towel on the table for my dad to clean up the mess without assistance. Unfortunately won't be making the hour long trip out of Bright to re-visit. Very disappointing for a place that has so much potential.

Beautiful dog friendly outdoor eating area with alpacas bleeting in the distance. Steak with garlicy mash was absolutely delicious.

Highly recommend it. This beautiful setting, friendly service and amazing food that was well prepared and served beautifully, made for an experience that makes us want to come back for more! Well done, Glenbosch!

Wow, wow, wow…. I could stop the review there!

The winery is located just a couple of minutes out of Beechworth on the southern side, as you approached you can see the prime location for this winery set with a backdrop the vineyards and hills.

We attended the winery were not disappointed, the staff were extremely friendly, polite and welcoming. As you enter you can smell the delicious foods being cooked in the semi-open kitchen area.

We were seated in indoors near the window and ordered a couple of drinks for the table, being a couple of beers, a bottle of Modesto (sensational), an espresso martini and the Glenbosch 2020 Sauvignon Blanc…. All superb!

We then ordered meals which were cooked to perfection, I would recommend the grilled scallops as a starter and the Charcoal Grilled Black Angus Eye Fillet, although everyone loved their meal no matter what it was.

We sat, ate, talk, laughed, drank and took in the magnificent view.

The meal and drinks for 5 people was about $380 which I thought was excellent considering the quality.

If you are in the area and want a high end meal and an absolutely sensational time, head over to Glenbosch winery.

The range on the menu, chef's preparation & plating, meal portions, wait and bar service, and courtesy bus - all made for a wonderful, tasty, full flavour, enjoyable evening, for a local food, wine and gin experience.

This is alongside the beautiful landscape vista of the hills and valley from every seat in the restaurant, and a scenic gentle walk between courses.

We really enjoyed the brunch and scenery here. It was the first day they offered brunch and the options are confit duck, asparagus or cured salmon, each with poached eggs and hollandaise. We ate the asparagus and duck which were both delicious. There was also a nice selection of cocktails and other drinks to go with the food. We enjoyed watching the alpacas while we ate!

Our food took almost 1 n half hours before it hit the table and was not blown away. The steak was good but the squid something was not good. You can only taste the tomato paste and so much rice and there's not much squid.

Too many rules and regulations.
Poor service. Wrong drinks. Refuse to split the bill.
If they expect return visits for the prices they are asking they need to be more customer oriented.

Lovely friendly service and a delicious selection of gin! Will definitely return to try out more of the menu!

We did the tasting which was great out in the sun, the girls were very helpful. We took a couple of bottles home, the prosecco was delicious!
