This school has a program seals where it separates the smart kids from the dumb kids, the school is very deceptive and manipulative and the reason why the scores aren't down the toilet is because they get all the dumb kids to do trades. Many of my friends went here and they hated it, very bad school you'd probably learn to hijack cars over maths, there is no opportunity in this school and have fun having your son or daughter do a trade. Watch your child's wellbeing plummet down the toilet as their dreams are crushed that's what I called core values that's what I call the heart of good ol glady park. Cry all you want, there's always goodie two shoes to replace your child.

Bads school bullys everywhere HELP ME! And make lunch prices cheaper cause you buy a pack of chicken tenders from coles for $5 and sell 1 fro $6 get it together.

Not as good as it used to be. Bullying goes unpunished, easier to let the 'bullied' leave (even encouraged it) than properly dealing with the bullies. New parents beware! Better High schools are around.

Gladstone Park secondary has the best staff and daily organiser. Tim, daily organiser is super caring and helpful. You would never feel isolated or left alone. Any problems, just inform the staff room, or if you are a Casual teacher, just give a call to the front desk and help will be right there. Given that ample cameras are covering all classrooms and yards, nothing can go unnoticed. It is a huge security and peace of mind for both staff members and parents, I'm sure. If you are a parent and living in Northern suburbs, it should be your choice of first 2 high schools to send your child to. If you are a teacher, it is your dream workplace for sure.

I am a parent and agree with a negative review about receptionists, My advice to the management of this school is to train reception staff about customer service. I have never felt welcome as an adult so I totally agree with the student who posted negative comment about the reception.

They seem to have taken their jobs for granted and forgotten that the state actually employs them to serve the community. This is an area that requires attention ASAP. Please put your front desk someone who can smile and has enthusiasm for their job.

This schools receptionist and lady’s in the office are disgusting they sit their having their own conversations while students and others wait for them. They are also very very rude and have to fix their attitude. Also office lady’s no one asked you to work there so if you don’t like your job QUIT. And one more thing just because you have no life other then sitting in a school office going home to your husband that’s probably begging you for a divorce, doesn’t mean you have to take it out on students.

The children are rabid and full of venom, what happened to the days of old.child beatings and solitary confinement. I urge staff to discipline the juveniles for they are vile spiteful and full of hatred.a little imp by the gate tugs at my thighs, it walks off scot free despite the educator viewing the altercation.next time I alert the council

This school is great academically but lacks horrendously in the mental health and wellbeing department. There has only been a few instances where I thought a teacher actually cared about me. This school preaches respect but they fail to realise that respect goes both ways.students won’t want to respect a teacher that yells at them for coughing too loud or sends them to junior school for wearing a bit of natural makeup or the wrong coloured socks.nail polish, makeup, socks, hair dye and any form of self expression seem to be more important than the well-being of their own students.student services claims to be super helpful but in all actuality doesn’t help. They seem to think that telling your guardian will solve all of your problems when really students just want to talk to you and leave.this school also fails to recognise the fact that students have their own opinions, likes and dislikes and they shouldn’t be afraid to express how they feel when a teacher does something wrong. Instead, we are made to feel like we are lower than our teachers and we don’t deserve as much respect and we deserve to be pushed around and yelled at simply because we are younger and “less experienced”. Learn some respect for your students.

Easily the best public school in Hume. Prices for canteen food are massively overpriced, but other than that there isn't much to complain about. The staff is always there for you, and the SRC is extremely effective for promoting a student voice to the school council and reaching the upper end of the school.

This school is honestly abuse. The first day I attended to this hell hole, was pure torture. They constantly care about their image before the well-being of the students, and give out unfair punishments that show unfavourable bias towards most of the students unless they are classed "high achievers". Everything everyone says about this place is true. Since when was chewing gum a greater offence than beating a child up? I was also pressured to remove my makeup despite all the seniors going without punishment; even being out of uniform is tolerated there. I swear the seniors could commit murder. I love how the teachers show such pride in the school when I can tell they don't agree with majority of their morals. The coordinators are also abusive and annoying. All the students are scared to walk in, because it's a sure bet they'll be harassed for something they did wrong. It is very intimidating to talk to any of the staff, as they are always waiting to catch you out on what you've done wrong, before even thinking to praise you on your accomplishments. Wouldn't recommend this school to my worst enemy. Stay away before your kids become suicidal, it's not a shock if they're wanting to kill themselves when they get home every night. You could get better education in Africa, and certainly better treatment. Also the prices of uniform and canteen are beyond me. Anyone could've bought a Gucci Uniform with that much money. Terrible school.

This school doesn’t even derserve a star. They care about how the school is presented more then the education in this school.

Terrible school, the teachers started abuse me and a lot of the boys just for the facts where boys, I once got a after school detention (which are for 50 minutes after school) for simply sitting next to someone. I was also getting bullied by a girl, she would call me names and hit me. I decided to tell junior school and they did nothing about it, This was happening to my friend and when the girl called him a "freckled face orangatang" he said "shut up" he got suspended for saying that. Meanwhile nothing has happened to the bully. A lot of the times I felt isolated and I really wanted to kill my self at times because of the staff. Please don't send your daughter or son to this school unless you want them to get problems like depression and anxiety.

Literally makes you want to kill yourself, they don’t care about students at all it’s just about maintaining a good image.

This school is the worst school ever. The teachers and cordinaters are so disrespectful and rude. I’ve been bullied in this school for over a year and the cordinaters know that. They say that they’re checking the cameras but the cameras aren’t even working. I wait every single day to see if they will fix that problem but no I get every day more and more bullied They give principal detentions and Saturday detention including suspensions to the people who deserve the least. I am still getting bullied and the cordinaters are too busy sipping their coffee and chatting with each other instead of helping the students who are getting bullied. Also to let anyone know that you will get told of for wearing a tshirt under your school uniform basically their school uniform is very bad and the jackets are the thinnest in the world and they expect from us to come to school dressed up how they want well when it 0 degrees I freeze and I get sick easily and then if you don’t come to school for one day they would basically yell at you and send you like 50 letters of you not being in school. This school is very very bad and hopefully that perents will read this because I don’t want your child to be bullied and disrespect by the cordinaters and teachers. This school will never help you the teachers will give you at least 50 catch ups for no reason and then you will get called to one of the offices to get principal detention, Saturday detention or be suspended.
I hope that perents will see this and not sign their child to go to this school.
