An excellently curated collection of fabulous fabrics and always well priced. This picture shows their current collection of Indigenous Australian designs on pure cotton. It's highly diverse in terms of colours, textures, contrast and mood. You can find anything from a classic dot design, through to more floral, animal, food, and even a lovely beige/fawn style that would make a lovely sedate shirt.

Sometimes I go for the dance/bling, but these days I can't go past that phenomenal collection of printed cottons. Largest collection of modern batik in town, sugar skulls, zombie pinups and occasional anime designs.

Big store with everything the textile shopper requires including informative staff. Some good quality natural fabrics now available also. I like the position and the presentation of this new store and I will be happy to return for my sewing supplies again and again.

Usually shop here in person but chanced to use the online option recently. Great service, fast delivery, good quality and attention to detail to the extent I had a call to ensure the order was correct.

Brilliant patchwork fabric shop. Larger than average, plus dance fabrics, batting, threads and other sewing supplies. Brilliant staff: helpful and knowledgeable.

Great, apart from staff member who attended to me spent the whole time on the phone and so impossible to ask questions or check on any other things l needed. I bought less as a result. I will go elsewhere next time. There is a really good patchwork shop not far away.

Gj's is an excellent fabric store the staff are very loverly and helpful. They specialise in dance fabrics they have a fantastic range of stretch and quilting fabrics.

It has become very expensive as nd the stsgf are not as friendly as they usedto be when at Lygon st.

Wonderful shop full of patchwork fabric and dance fabric. Also patterns and everything else you need! Staff are very knowledgeable, and pleasantly helpful. Upstairs, a great space to sew!

Great range of fabrics and really helpful staff. When they didn’t have something I needed they ordered it in for me and it arrived only days later.
