We’re sneaking up to completion of our lovely new home. The idea of building for us made us quite anxious, but the process through the GJ team has been a breeze. We’ve fully customised our house plan and nothing we’ve asked for has been too much trouble. Can’t speak highly enough of the whole team.

We were so excited this week with our site inspection with Tim! Such a great experience so far with the Team starting with Kerry in The Horsham office.nothing has been too much trouble. The plan was easily modified to suit our vision. Colour selection was a well supported process with many options and expert advice. Plenty of contact and easy to understand information/explanations for us first time builders. The website to GJ Gardner home was were it started with 3D walk throughs and heaps of plans.

I have had numerous dealings with G J Gardner Homes with Elders supplying the land and G J Gardner supplying the new home for house and land packages. We work in well together and have had nothing but good courteous customer service and great local knowledge.

Although we didn’t end up building our dream home with GJGardner Ararat Horsham Hamilton, I still wanted to review my personal experience with the team.
My husband and I had a gorgeous 95 acre property only 5 minutes from the Hamilton CBD for the past 17 years and always had a plan to build on one day
We sold our Gray St home in December 2017 and started our journey of building on our property
Our first appointment was with Pene Baker in the Gray Street office where although it was somewhat overwhelming, she made us feel at ease straight away and we narrowed our house plan reasonably easy then travelled to Bendigo to view the home we planned on building
We then met Pene in the Ararat showroom to start choosing colours and fixtures where once again with her guidance we found it a non stressful experience
We met both Ash and Sally and Cathy in the office who we both felt really comfortable with and went through all of the details of contracts and finances (to me the boring non exciting scary bit) but we paid the deposit that day and felt very confident moving forward!
From then on we were constantly receiving emails, phone calls and updates, we had issues with planning permits from the council to be able to build under 100 acres, absolutely no hold up or issues with GJGardner
This went on for some time until we then got notification for us to get the permit and just when our dream home was to finally get started we had another setback from a very unreasonable disgruntled local and the stress was just too much for us personally!
It was a very hard decision for us to make and not made lightly, I dreaded ringing the team as they had all been so supportive to us while we were going through it, but they were all very understanding to our situation and supported our decision wholeheartedly

When you decide to build you have a dream of how things will be, and you have to trust someone to make that dream come to reality. Gardner Homes Ararat have made our dream come true. Every person at Gardner's Ararat was wonderful, cheerful, helpful. Their constant enthusiasm was contagious.
Even though the build is finished the team is still in contact, checking that things are still ticking along as they should. We've been assured we can contact them at anytime, about anything.
We feel part of a Gardner family, and Ashley should be very proud of his team.
