We absolutely had one of the best nights out dining at Ginseng and were so so so happy to enjoy a pleasant dining experience. At other places, restaurants and take ways, for one reason or another, we have had a lit of hed experiences and great disappointment but NOT Ginseng. Ginseng finally gave us, the pleasant experiences we endeavoured to achieve many times before but failed so it was such a refreshing pleasant experience and we had a beautiful night. * If I could give Ginsenf 10/10 I would. The food was amazing. The Staff were well groomed and very attentive to our needs without being over the top or intrusive. It was great service and we were well looked after and we felt great. The restaurant was modern, well furnished and NOT noisy. We lived it. Highly recommend for all the above positive experiences

Don't get the take away! Mainly sickening sause bits of onion hardly any ingredients. Very little substantial meat or veggies. Felt lousy afterwards. Very expensive considering how little ingredients. Would never go there again. Very disappointing.

Just celebrated our 25th Anniversary and had dinner for the first time at Ginseng. Peking Duck! Yummy! They even brought out a special dessert for our Anniversary. Lovely staff. We will be back!

I just wasted $52 of my 'hard earned' on a delivered menu from Ginseng. My 'one ton' (short soup) was nothing more than a few pork dumplings in hot water " flavor: nil". The shredded duck soup; hard pieces of over cooked mushroom (I think it was mushroom?). Honey Chicken: the batter was dry, not crunchy, only about half was eaten. The 'chicken, veggies & cashews' saved the nite a bit so we (2) shared that & made a meal for 2 of it.

Good food and great service. I would love to try the rest of their menu. I only tried a couple of dishes, but definitely delicious.

I'm fairly certain the restaurant cancelled my ubereats order (after an hour waiting), then lied to me about it, blaming a 'glitch' with Uber. The order was cancelled ONE minute after I rang them to ask where it was. And a delivery person was never assigned. Luckily the food was good despite the absolute frustration. I ended reordering and picking it up myself.

As a happy repeat customer, I would definitely recommend this place, especially for Chinese food around this area. The service and staff were great. I still have my takeaways from here while still in lockdown. After restrictions ease, I would recommend dining in, as they also have nice atmosphere.

I love the food at this restaurant and am a regular patron. The prices are reasonable, the service excellent and the food top notch, especially the spring rolls and dim sims. I thoroughly recommend it to all. You won't be disappointed.

Today was my first time I had been to this restaurant. The staff were absolutely beautiful, so happy and friendly like a ray of sunshine. The food was deliciously perfect. The meat was so tender and vegetables cooked to perfection with a well balanced sauces. So fresh and delicious. Will definitely become regular customer. The restaurant was really lovely, clean and fresh. Highly recommend. ️

Take away is just as good as eating in the restaurant.
Had a large order delivered and received a bottle of wine on the house for the amount we paid. Thanks so much. It was beautiful x

First Time Customer: Just want to say a massive thank you to everyone at Ginseng. We had my mother's 60th Birthday tonight! I placed our order 2 days ago. We ordered 2 full serves of Peaking Duck (highly recommended), Fried Rice, Dim Sims, Garlic & Ginger Fillet Steak, BBQ pork in Plum Sauce and Chicken & Cashew Nuts. The staff were so accomidating to prepare the Peaking Duck at late notice. The food was absolutely delicious. The order was ready for pick up exactly when we asked it to be. Peaking Duck was spot on! All other dishes were cooked to perfection with nice asian flavors. To top it all off we were given 2 large Chicken & Sweet Corn Soups and a large Fried Rice for free. Amazing Service and we will be back for sure! Thankyou.

Long-running local business that would definitely be one of the best places for Chinese food in the area. I've never had a bad meal here. They're really well setup for takeaway too (will give you separate bags/ containers for sauces/ crunchy items/ etc). Has several banquets on the menu which are really good value.

Foods always delicious. 5 start. Great service friendly knowledge staff. Really good live music mid week too

Both my husband and I are ex hospitality staff, with my husband being a retired chef and every time we come, the food and service is amazing.

Nice to have a favorite restaurant of 10 years, that knows what true hospitality is.

Just a great variety, of quality Chinese food. Been coming here for 12 years. Highly consistent, quality family business.

Food is always good. Tried several Chinese restaurants around Frankston after we moved here from Dandenong and were having trouble finding a good one. Ginseng is now our Chinese restaurant of choice, love the food, wish they had a delivery service but as long as the quality is there we will pick up.
