Very noisy, always feel rushed. Quality in food & service is not as good as it used to be.

Good service, but if you are at all accustomed to good Asian food, don't go here. The food is subpar at best, and for the price you're paying it's just not worth it.

Ordered take away for the first time at this restaurant as I was fed up with my usual charging me for prawn crackers and sauce to dip my spring rolls!
Prices are reasonable and the food was amazing. Staff were warm and friendly even though they were super busy.
Will be booking a table soon!

Wonderful greeting. Pleasant atmosphere and excellent and interesting food. Korean chicken ribs spicy.yummm! Next time we will try more entrees from this extensive menu. Thanks

Had lunch today (3/8), Service was terrific, food came out fast, portions were large, very reasonably priced & all staff were lovely. David, the owner, was very friendly also.

We've been here a few times and the food is always amazing and the service is exceptional. Happily recommend.

Went for Yum Cha and food was ok but was not yumCha as we knew it. There were no trolleys coming around for us to select from just a menu and then most of the dishes came at once. Others preferred.

So delicious! Food was extremely fresh and so tasty. Reasonably priced and good serving sizes too. Staff were very friendly and professional. We had the entree wontons, supreme combination, chicken and cashew dish and special fried rice. The food wasn’t too salty either so you could taste all the lovely flavours. We will be back for more! I had to amend my review.the first time we ordered it was lovely, so I left 5 stars. We ordered again today, for Mother's Day lunch, they sent wrong items. The beef and chicken were both dry and tough. Not enough sauces either. Very disappointed

First time eating here and will be back. Great food, prompt service - staff attentive, without being overbearing. Took first drink order quickly after we were seated, while we perused the menu. Good value for money.

We had our Chinese New Year dinner at this restaurant, their service and food were amazing.

We booked tabel for birthday. Had our separate part of the restaurant. Food great and best ever service. Staff is atentative and polite. Can't really find a folt.

The food was OK, but not nice enough to qualify the higher then normal price tag attached to their dishes. There are a lot of better options for cheaper. I won’t be back as I don’t feel the value for money is there.

My partner and I aren't local to this restaurant and thought we'd stop in for dinner after a long day. It was an hour before closing time, with no reservation and the staff welcomed us in with no hesitation and got us a table straight away - we were amazed with the friendly staff, attentive service, fantastic meal prices (we were pleasantly surprised when paying the bill) and the food quality was absolutely delicious.

Thanks a lot to the team at Ginseng, keep up the fantastic work and thanks for giving us a nice start to 2023!
When we revisit Frankston we will definitely be back to visit!

Magnificent meal. We have been going to Ginseng for years and never had one bad experience. David (the owner) goes above and beyond. The service is fantastic, the meals are superb and the price just right.

Enjoyed our new years eve lunch. A lot of new things to try. Will be going back before we move on.

It's not bad, but not great.
If you're looking for authentic Asian food, go somewhere else. Food was extremely westernised but if that's your thing, by all means. Paid a lot for what I wouldn't consider worth the price. Cantonese Eggplant Curry dish was good though. Serving sizes are generous so that's a plus. Front of house staff were extremely friendly and professional. A credit to the restaurant. For authentic Asian food, don't look for modern Asian food I suppose. As someone who's lived in china and now lives with Chinese food for dinner most nights thanks to the wife, I feel maybe I'm bias, but I was hoping for more than what I got for our $100+ dinner.

Another dinner there, another delicious meal. So glad we found a really good Chinese in the area.
Watchout for the chilli warnings as a dish rated 1chilli can be quite warm. Which is strange as the Kung Bo chicken had a 2 chilli rating but the previous meal when we had that it was quite mild. Never mind, the food was excellent!
