Ginger Leaf Thai Restaurant

I ordered a prawn dishes and they served me a pork dishes⋯the taste was ok but I was unpleasant with the experience cuz I want seafood not meat.

The service, food, and ambiance was awful.we waited for a loooooooong time and at the end the taste and the smell of our foods were unpleasant!

I decided to try this restaurant for the first time last Friday for lunch and I was very disappointed. The food portions were decent and the flavors was ok.but the service and wait time is absolutely unacceptable!

The staff is really not equipped to handle the busy period, we ordered two lunch dishes and it took an hour to receive our food. It took a while to get a waitress attention to order or to make enquires. There was no apology offered, every waiter and waitress we managed to talk to, said they would check our order and never came back to report the status.an hour passed till we received our order.

If you have all the time in the world and not feeling hungry, maybe this place is for you. It's definitely not for us!

Our friends invited us to have a dinner at this restaurant. Initially we were a bit worried because the venue was not crowded on a Friday night. But the food was quite decent and the atmosphere inside - very relaxing and cozy. The carries are really good and go well with roti or rice. If you have space for a dessert - we recommend a crispy banana with coconut ice-cream (not too sweet but tastes delicious)

Really enjoyed my duck dish. Really packed full of flavour and duck. Fresh pops of tomato and pineapple. Would have it again, and would recommend it.

Amazziiinnngg food! Very well priced as well!

We were a group of 5 and the service was a bit slow especially for drinks considering there were only 2 other people in there.

It was a bit quite could have used some music

Great place to eat out. It's get pretty busy during lunch time. Food is great and reasonably priced. You can order special rice and alcoholic drinks. Perfect not only for Friday lunch with colleagues.

Very nice food, quick service during week day lunch. Would recommend getting there by 12 or book a table in advance, place has filled up quickly the few times I've been there.

Good food. No splitting bills. Surcharge on card. Apparently a discount on paying with cash however somehow this didn't apply when I paid with cash: (

Dined here as a group when staying nearby for a visit. The staff were lovely and helpful but could have been a bit more attentive. The menu was comprehensive so something for everyone. The meals were tasty with generous servings at good prices.

Great food, but the venue is really noisy when it’s busy, and this makes it hard to hear the conversation. Also, they wouldn’t split the bill for a group, which is pretty inconvenient.

They took forever to bring the orders even after the restaurant had only three tables occupied and weren't even sure of how many dishes were supposed to be brought to our table. One of our friends was without food even after all of us had received our orders. However, the food tasted good. I think they should work towards improving their service as their food tastes good

WORST EXPERIENCE EVER! The restaurant was crowded but found us a table.two parents two kids at lunch time. They ignored us for a good 10 minutes. There were no highchairs, we had to stand up and ask two different waiters to take our orders, once it was taken we were left waiting over half an hour for food, regardless of again asking two different waiters whether it was coming, meanwhile, the table of 8 diners next to us was served their food, finished and paid the bill in the time we were waiting. With two toddlers who were tired and hungry and just wanted to eat. In the end i ended up cancelling our order and leaving.
This is disgusting and unacceptable service and I will never eat here ever. Ended up going next door to the gozleme cafe, ordered, paid and received our food within 5 minutes. Whereas at Ginger leaf we were there for 50 minutes and were treated like dirt.

We had a team lunch over here and the restaurant was good with the reservations and preorders. The food was tasty and satisfactory. The price is a bit too high compared to the other thai restaurants in the locality as the quantity was pretty similar to the other ones. May be avoid fridays as they are too crowded and as the place is a bit small, it can get too noisy.

Food is good. Though portions are on smaller size and price is moderate. Limited selection of beers.

Place is always busy, advance booking is recommended. Place can accommodate groups as well, good to pre-order, otherwise there will be 15-30minutes delay. Food is really yummmm. They have good options for vegetarians as well. Rather than usual fried rice /noodles, you could try few other things like Anna and the king, spicy noodles etc.

Arrogant staff, never faced this before anywhere else. Food was normal not that great. Service was fast may be coz we were first one to order but portion was too small for this price.

Very slow service on a Wednesday lunch time. Only one waitress's in a restaurant will 150 customers.

Place is easy to find. The fish we ordered was amazing. The dessert took a long time to arrive. The portions are a bit small for the price.
