Ginger Leaf Thai Restaurant reviews
39 Worst restaurant in Docklands. Poorest service.
People don’t come to take order, then take more than 30 minutes to give your order.
Pathetic experience.food is also expensive as compared to other competitors
Visited this restaurant today after 1 year. Food quality has come down. Found one staff member rude. However cashier was good and friendly.
The food was ok, but the portions were poor, the prices are decent enough to expect a decent amount of food as well, but this is not the case, very disappointed with the portion sizes
Standard for Thai food, more of an experience with Thai fine dining.
Servers were lovely with their kind nature.
Yummy Thai Restaurant, Delicious Pineapple a fried rice and Vegan Tomyum. They have table for lone ranger customer. Very friendly staff and good environment.
Had lunch there once with colleagues and the food is pretty amazing. Can't say it's entirely authentic but close enough to the real thing when you're looking to satisfy that Thai craving.
Another fave Thai restaurant in Melbourne. Although I normally only eat the chicken with red chilli paste and basil with a fried egg. Had the other meals here though and they’re solid.
Great food. Marked down a little due the the smaller dish sizes than in the past. Also they seem to be under staffed at lunch time.
Restaurant is good, not able to judge on the authenticity of food. Wanna try Thai style food go for it, give a try don’t miss it out.
Please avoid at all cost!
Food: Not authentic at all. Most of them covered with Rocket leaves to make up the volume. Very expensive too.
Staff: Not as friendly.
Ambiance: Doesn't matter, when the food is horrible.
You are not paying for food, but for pricy real estate.
This is my first visit and nobody was attending us for first half an hour. Rating stars are for Food only.
Lovely mix of Thai and Asian fusion dishes with a good vegetarian range. Crowded and noisy but the food was worth it.
The place gets pretty crowded on a working day afternoon, however finding a place to sit was not an issue. First impression after looking at the menu, expensive! But once food was served, we thought that it was worth it. Both in terms of taste and quantity. Loved the flavours basically.

Servers were lovely with their kind nature.
Meals were served a la carte style, smaller portions.
Good for a quiet night out with a glass of wine.
Went there last week on a very quiet Thursday evening. Staff welcomed us and were friendly. Food took more than half an hour to come out despite there being only two other tables with couples on them. Food portions were good and the taste was reasonably good however it was not something that would compel me to go back. Overall, I would say if you are in the area do check this place out but don't go with huge expectations.
Great food and nice staff. The coconut prawns for starters, was delicious. I definitely recommend them. Next time I’m in Melbourne I’ll be back.
Good food, do book, even tho we pre ordered our tables meals, it took a while for them to come, seems they did others first that arrived after us.
Tom yum was the only good thing in this place. Place was quite service was slow and food was very meh
Thai green curry with jasmine rice was really tasty on a cold day. The service was quick and the host was very friendly and helpful. Nice cosy place with Thai decor.we went there for dinner where we had to share the curry and order the rice separately.however lunch time they serve individual plate with one portion meal per person like curry and rice thats a better option.
We also tried Thier chicken Satay which was good.
