Geppetto’s

Our go to Italian. Amazing, amazing lasagne (saucy and delicious), great pizza with a nice base (not thin crust), great pastas as well. The wait can be a little while (esp the online estimation time), but it's definitely worth it.

Change of pizza base and low quality mozrella on buffala pizza.
Medium size looks like a small size. Not worth the money.

Had the Minestrone Soup, take away.
It was amazing!
Full of flavour, veggies & risoni pasta. The bread was also delicious for sinking into the soup. Definitely recommend.

They sent a pizza right away when I told them that my Uber driver delivered me a wrong pizza. No questions asked.
The staff was very nice and understanding.

Enjoyed our meal at Gepetto’s. We spent quite a while at the establishment as we were waiting for friends at an event. The staff were accomodating and friendly. The wine and drinks were nice, the food was rich and large serves. We were also able to takeaway what was left. It’s amazing that this place is open until 1am. I think the staff must get a little tired toward the end of the night though! Overall would recommend dining here.

Pastas, Arancini and garlic bread are highly recommended. Very friendly staff and during peak hours very quick service.

Absolutely appalling service, I ordered dinner through Uber eats, order showed up in 2x SEALED bags, opened to find out that one item missing, rang Gepetto’s to find out what they could do about it and was rudely told it’s not there problem it was probably the drivers fault and I had to ring Uber, I have been ordering from Gepetto’s and Dining there for years and have never been so disappointed, I don’t care if Uber delivers there food or not, I ordered food from Gepetto’s not Uber they are only a delivery service, Gepetto’s I am very disappointed in the lack of professionalism you have displayed and hope you read this and change your poor attitude and rudeness towards your customers, if you had even tried to help you might not have just lost a loyal customer. You need to do better.

Missed half our order (possibly Ubers fault). Phoned and was absolutely abused by the manager. Would not let me get a word in. In the past we have loved their food by now after being yelled at we will no longer be ordering from them.

Have been eating at and ordering from Geppettos for years and have seen both the service and quality of food diminish in the last few months. What used to be a local institution is now a local joke. Do yourself a favour and eat elsewhere.

Beautiful pizza with amazing taste and flavours— the pizza dough is incredible! A little bit of a wait so be sure you have time to sit back and relax. Generally a very chill and classy environment in the restaurant.

Ordered our food over the phone with a man with a strong Italian accent.
First he took another phone call while I was waiting to order, then repeated my order back wrong.
Then repeated back the wrong name. I corrected him twice.
I was told 15-20mins wait.
Arrived at the restaurant to pick up the order after 25mins waiting.
Inside the overly crowded pick up area twice the Uber drivers were allowed to push in front of me and another customer.
I paid for my food and told it would be another 10mins. =35mins

After seeing three customers receive their order that was placed during my wait I was asked what I name was and my order was. It was placed under the wrong name.

An hour! After I placed my order I asked if I could be compensated for the wait with a chocolate mousse.
I was told it “doesn’t work like that, look around it’s are busy. “
I am horrified and disgusting with the costumer service, lack of organisation and overall manners of this restaurant.

Please don’t ever tell a customer false time to wait.
If I could give a lower rating I would.

Very rude staff. The guy there acted like he was giving me food free of cost. I left without collecting my food and didn’t even ask for money back.

It was a last minute decision and thought we would have a look, the home made past was very nice and pizza great, lovely food and service I think there dining in is better than a 3.9.
I haven't read there reviews but I like to decide for my self, was very pleased

Great menu selection, actually really large selection, Chicken Parmalat (Wed special menu) was great with leafy salad, good size. Risotto was a bit gluggy, lots of seafood in it, need to supply some fresh parmesan to the table. Risotto and pasta dishes are really large serves. Table service ok.waiter that brought out the meals was much friendlier, service really does matter.good restaurant for families.

Really really not impressed with how you put the $10 lemon meringue pie in its container, the crust was on its side in the top upside down!
For $10 I want to be able to recognise my dessert as a Lemon Meringue pie!

The best Italian restaurant in Burwood without a doubt. So, ridiculously yummy. Amazing food, great service. I don't think I've been to a restaurant with such a large selection.

An excellent local restaurant for Italian food. Amazing taste, good serving size, with friendly staff. It is by far the best Italian food I've tasted in my life so far (including my trip to Italy)
