Staff was nice.ish. Meat was probably the worst I've had at KBBQ. Environment was average nothing flash, just OK

For the price can't complain however if this place wants to improve:

Pros:
- price
- rice and veggie were good

Cons
- needs better quality meat, for some reason the meat had so much fat and bones? Cheap cuts? Tasted old?
- hot plate barely heated and the food took so long
- plates were TINY to stack food on

As mentioned, wasn't horrible but wouldn't revisit by any means.

Worst service ever. Most unprofessional service. Promised to do thing and get me to pay then changed their mind and not allowing customers to eat inside restaurant.

One of the best restaurants i ever been too.the waitress Helinda was so nice.one of the best experiences and food so so tasty.

We just shared an amazing meal at Goenbae! The food was fabulous, in both quality and variety. The staff were so lovely and helpful, we hadn't done Korean BBQ before but will definitely do it again. What a great way to share food with family and friends. Enjoyed it all with beer, wine and YAY soju! Oh and leave just a little bit of room for the shaved ice dessert, such a simple and lovely way to end our meal. Definately recommend.

Linda had exceptional service skills and I would come back alone just for her customer service

A very popular restaurant. And booked out. Staff are very helpful for us first timers and showed us how to prepare meals.

The older gentleman working behind the bar this afternoon was a very kind and friendly man, made us feel very welcomed and look after us well!

First time visitor as i just work 5 minutes away i havent had kimchi since moving from nz a year ago good portions and tasty food for takeaway. Must dine in with my young family to gauge full experience.

Had an ok experience at this place. They are under staff. Booked at 7pm. Arrived at 7pm and have to wait for 30min until got seated. Ordered food and waited for 1 and a half hr. A staff came out and apologised as the chef lost our order. Finally meat came out for the bbq but it for frozen solid. However they have given us some free complimentary due to the waits. I would recommend go in when it’s not peak hr and days.

Corn cheese was terrible. Beef bulgogi was average at best. However the fried chicken is decent.

Cheese Balduk was delicious! Would definitely recommend, beautifully set out venue, lovely friendly staff. All in all great experience

Its a nice little joint to go to when you want something different. The food is pretty good and you get to cook it yourself. 4/5

PSA drinking rice wine is a trap. Do not recommend if you want to have a productive day following
