Gellibrand Cafe

I have never had a bad meal or coffee here. They're closed until Jan 15 but worth the wait!

After 3 visits, each visit has been a positive experience. Staff have always been friendly and attentive. There's an varied selection of hot drinks to enjoy. Decor & vibe is pleasant and soothing to be in.

Beautifully presented Cafe, it doesn't look like much from the outside, but when the front door opens.it's just gorgeous!
I had a halloumi toasti it had the most delicious relish along with avo, spinach and excellent bread. I ordered a loose leaf chai latte but it had barely any flavour. I saw it was brewed in a teapot which was lovely- just no flavour.
Also got the Brulée doughnut which was amazing! My friend had one of the escargot sweets and a cold brew and she said it was excellent too.

Highly recommend this Cafe, it is sooo good you won't be disappointed.

Food was okay but not the best tried Moroccan lamb which was bit overcooked
Smoked salmon meal was okay but salmon quantity was less
Coffee was amazing and pressed juice was good too
Service was good too

Love how there are so many cool cafes sprinkled around Reservoir now.

Have been into this one @gellibrandcafe a few times before and have loved it.

Look at the gorgeous fit out! It’s stunning! Love the salmon pink tones and the gorgeous pastel accents. The archways and hanging plants and blooms really make for an eye catching and spirit lifting ambiance.

So many delicious all day dining options but my favourites would have to be the Chilli Scrambled Eggs and the Slow Pulled Beef Eggs Benny

Coffee is always on point, and also their Chai and Beetroot Latte I’ve been told.

Go check them out if your Northside, you won’t be disappointed!

Ambience was great and so the hospitality. People there are so generous, and they check on you time to time.
Coming to the food, I had a "All Aboard" from the brunch menu. The only think I did not like is the toast and mushrooms. Apart from that, it was 3.5/5.

We really enjoyed our experience here. The server was lovely and even catered to my husband's particular breakfast tastes.

The food was delicious and the serving was quite generous, good coffee too.

It's a personal preference, and may not be a normal thing, but they had lilies on the table which had a dominating scent which was not my favourite, but other than that I would go back in a heartbeat (and hope to go back very soon!)

Been for both breakfast and lunch. Today I had an amazing veggie burger and the restaurant went out of their way to make it coeliac safe when I told them I had coeliacs. I've been a vegetarian for 2 decades and this was one of the best veggie burgers I've ever had, even on a gf bun. They gave me a salad instead of fries as the fries are fried in the same fryer as glutenous foods, and the salad was delicious (rocket and other nice leafy greens), with a lime and olive oil dressing. Their breakfast options are great and my non-Coeliac husband has had great food there as well. They have some good gluten free and vegetarian options. Also, I had a dirty chai and it was one of the best I had in Melbourne.

Great food. Wonderful service. Highly recommended this cafe. Will definitely visit again. (Ask Billy to make you a French soda)

Fantastic local cafe, pastel pink walls, gelato bar and not to mention the custom pink racer coffee machine.
Run by a master chef the food is mind blowing️

Great local spot for a takeaway or a lovely brunch. I often come with my dog and a baby and they are always so accommodating, they take my order and bring it outside. Prams inside are also welcome. Recommend as a baby and dog friendly family cafe.

Waited 1 hour for my food.wasn’t wat I expected disgusting tasted burnt and oil was old yuck never going back

The selection of modern cuisine dishes will suit everyone! Add on top great selection of filter coffee & great in house made cold drinks like the French sodas and you have yourself a great experience.

Just had breakfast here. They were busy and appeared understaffed, and yet still provided great customer service and the food/coffee was on point! Would come again.
