My laptop came back worst then when I brought it in. Had a fuzzy screen (but was still usable). Ask them to have a look and quote to repair. Price was not worth it to fix it, so they put it back together but the screen didn't work at all now! They ruined my screen! Computer is useless now. Seeking legal advice as this is my work computer.

I went to Geek Republic to replace an LCD screen on my 15.6 inch more than one year old laptop (out of warranty) and Jim replaced it on the spot with a brand new one at a reasonable price. The new one is so much better than the original, with higher resolution and more natural colors. Thank you so much, Geek Republic! My laptop was a good model and I didn't want such a new model to go to e-waste! Excellent customer service.

I would not recommend this business to anyone. He did not listen to what I was explaining to him. I had an iPad that had been hacked. He stated that he found seven viruses that he removed and reset the password. All was good until I turned the iPad off. Upon restarting the iPad I was asked to enter the password. This failed on many occasions until the iPad became disabled. When I took it back the next day he claimed it was all my fault because I could not remember the password. I knew my password but the hacker had replaced it with his own and of course I have no idea what that is. I asked him if he help in any way. He told me he couldn’t and I frustration I dropped the iPad onto the floor and stood on it. I had paid $154 the previous day and it all seems to wasted. Cannot and would not recommend geek republic to anyone

Jim is one of the most rude, disrespectful manipulative business operator I have witness in recent time. He and I quote said verbatim that "I have no interest in making customers happy". This was after I had to calm him down as he was being increasingly hostile and irate. Mind you I 6'3 and he's at best 60kg 1.60m. I had pulled him up saying that this type of behaviour will be bad for your business.

He told me I'll have to bring in my laptop as he didn't want to over the phone and said it's free no worries. I receive the quote and it was too expensive and then pulled out every trick to coerce me into going ahead with hard drive replacementz even threatened that my data will be lost.

I eventually got my laptop back.

I gave every opportunity to apologise for the way he behaved as I am aware a lot of small business are under the pump with these ridiculous lockdown restrictions.
But he elected to be intentionally arrogant, condescending and almost seem to beg for a 1 star review.

Horrendous experience. There are plenty of competent businesses in the area that'll do the job for much less with great respect and courtesy.

Very professional repair service. The technician repaired my iPhone X speaker. The repair time is very fast.

My boy friend always broke the phone screen, so I just directly bought the most protective otter case. It’s cool.

Good repair. Terrible customer service. I picked up my phone after a $369 fix and asked what he did exactly (as there where external and internal repairs) and he replied. "it's obvious what I did". Very odd response! Hardly obvious.

The clerk told me that it can be repaired and it only takes 3 days, which is really fast. It's not that I don't want to change the phone, but the data in the phone is very important for me. Really good repair technique.

Poor customer service, they have no idea what they are doing.
Not sure why Samsung authorised them as a service centre.

The boss James was terrible. Worst service. The product they are selling is faulty and refurbished from recycle parts. They do not care about customers.

They are very patient to explain how much damage, how to fix it and how the price calculated. It’s so nice.

Jim & the team are geniuses. After having everything hacked, I mean everything, the team went through phn & laptop. They are the best I've seen at what they do and are super fast, friendly & nor overly expensive. They will try to fix any issue.

Totally non-professional, please make sure you get detail condition report before you give your device to them.

I was in his shop to replace the keyboard of my MacBook Pro 2019 which was not working (because of coffee spill several months earlier) ; everything else was perfectly working with external keyboard. It has been checked by Apple Service Centre who also told it can be used with an external keyboard.

James, diagnosed that its motherboard is damaged, it is not charging, when he tried to charge found burning smell from the PC. So, he did not take risk to charge it. However, he offered to fix everything for a price with one year warranty! Which I found not worth. So I requested him to return my PC.

After I brought it home, found the PC turns on with no issue, getting charged, working with external keyboard, but screen is damaged with clear mark of thumb at the corner just above the power button. I can see from the mark on the screen that he pressed such forcefully and negligently that the screen above the power button has smashed. I gave him a good PC and he has returned me a smashed one.

I called him to discuss this issue and requested to see the PC again. He rudely replied that he has finished his job, he has nothing to do with it!

Got a quote and a time frame to replace phone screen, booked the job, came in to get it reoaired then got told it would take twice as long and cost 40 bucks more.

When my graphic tablet didn't work, I tried to call and ask many electronic shops in Melbourne. But, most of them, even in the city, didn't even know about the brand Wacom nor deal with graphic tablet. Then I just found here and called - then the staff said me to just come to their shop. I was still doubting if here can do it (sorry) as many other shops can't, but actually they did it! The pricing is so reasonable as well, even James cared about my future use of the tablet.
As a result, I didn't have to pay way more for a new one and now my device gonna last for a longer period.:)
Great shopping. If anything happens again, I'm going there again.

James did a great job and at a reasonable price. We now have a new computer replacing our old dinosaur which had lasted 10 years! James gave excellent service and was very helpful. Special thanks to Leo who helped take our new computer and printer to the car.
