Gardenworld Licenced Cafe

Not too bad a place. Comfortable and friendly. Only problem, food prices on meals are WAY overpriced for what you get. Pictured below is a very very basic lasagna with small chips and salad. $22.50.mmmmm ahhhh.nooooooo. Too much for that. In other words the price should be reasonably reflective of the quality. Not the case in the cooked meals.
After I wrote this, I met with friends who attended the same day with kids. Burgers with little meat, buns burnt, and of course.over priced. Only reason I didn’t give it one star is because their service was ok and reasonably quick. Message to owners: you are fortunate that you are the only cafe there. The crowd attend due to the large garden nursery.but you already know all that. More of these reviews will become prominent unless you take a serious look at yourself. NO EXCUSES.just seriously have a think. Your rating of 4.2 may be warranted from previous work but if this was a how you do things now in 2021, I fear word will get around. “Eat before you get to Garden World’

Great café for relaxing after the shopping at the garden centre. Good variety of food and cakes.

Lovely coffee and cake. Milk shakes are very tasty too. Huge range of food and options. They even have a wine bar!

It was such great experience, Waiter staff accommodated to us.even they are very busy with a lovely smile. Outstanding service!

I used to love coming here for lunch, the food used to be really good but on my last visit it was bland, oily, and reminded me of a truck stop meal. This is not to mention there was almost no room to move in the seating areas. No social distancing measures were put in place and evidently no capacity limits. I know it's been a tough year for hospitality but social distancing really is a matter of public safety at this stage, please make this place great again.

Service was fantastic, the cafe was quirky and the food was incredible. We will definitely be returning.

The Cafe had no social distancing at all, the inside packed to the max we decided to eat outside but within 10 minutes also packed 1 lady on a walker had a hell of a job getting out.
Shame on them insult to their customers and endangering their staff.

A lovely Cafe with decent drinks. Its a great place to visit after going shopping at gardenworld. The staff are also kind.

It was very busy. Staff not so friendly. The Food is ok. But the Prices for the food are expensive.

If I could, I would give zero stars. The elderly lady hostess at the counter was rude and unprofessional. Upon arrival she announced in a rude, harsh and unkind tone that the cafe would close in half an hour. We could only avail a coffee and cake. She continued to talk in a harsh manner despite me trying to continue to speak to her politely. Very poor service. I would imagine in a COVID - 19 recovery scenario, people would appreciate customers helping local cafes. Never returning to the cafe.

My favorite place to go for plants, coffee, pots and everything gardening!
So much to see and do here, even just a day trip here is worth if, especially if you have kids who love dinosaurs!

The food was very average, bordering on not very nice.we ordered crepes, pancakes and a meat pie. The service was also average - not particularly friendly or helpful. I'm willing to give it another go and select other items off the menu - maybe it was a bad day as most other reviews are favourable.

Always delicious food and a beautiful place to have lunch and grab some gorgeous plants at the nursery.

Coffee was good, scones were great with plenty butter and jam (we don't eat cream). Service was spot-on. We like this cafe, food is always good.
