3-4/5. Always loving the large range of plants here, especially the rare collectors’ and succulents section. Do be mindful to check for pests on plants you're getting though. I wanted to get a syngonium from the indoor plants nursery and found a lot of aphids! A hoya and a monstera that I recently bought as a birthday haul had mealybugs too. For someone with a large collection, my biggest concern is bringing in pests from nurseries. Treating these now and hope that the plants don't die! Otherwise, love this place!

In August 2022 I purchased a Camellia Debbie from Garden World. It was very expensive at $79.95.

I contacted Garden World in May this year to inform staff that I was disappointed that it had not grown, was hardly flowering and that side shoots were mere twigs, also that I had amended the soil very well prior to planting. That entire garden bed is healthy and well draining.

Different suggestions/ideas were put forward by Garden World, but no offer at all to refund or exchange.

15 months after purchase, today I dug it up. The roots are fine and have not developed. As suspected, I believe that this was not from healthy stock.

Over several years I had bought other healthy trees from this nursery, but this will be the last, not wasting my time to drive one hour.

Contrary to my usual practice I'll let the bigger player have a greater share of the pie. Garden World has not taken care of this repeat customer.

Correcting the assumption of the owner, clearly this was a photo of the plant above ground in a different part of my garden. I would not be that stupid to plant a camellia with no space to grow either side. Please give customers some credit!

Speedy delivery and good prices. I got exactly what I wanted and cannot find any other shop with lower delivery fees. It might be better to have notifications before delivery in case that nobody is home. Overall it was a good online shopping experience.

Great place to hangout on a weekend when when not buying plants. That being said, with the huge plant collection they have it's virtually impossible you'll come out without buying anything.
Plants are similarly priced to Bunnings but a much wider variety than you'll ever find in Bunnings. Annual flowering collection is crazy big!
For any other gardening stuff besides plants, you'll get a lot cheaper pricing & larger variety at Bunnings eg. Fertilizers, pesticides, tools, potting mix, etc.
Restaurant is great but $$$

An Excellent store with the best prices in Victoria for gardening products. My new go to. Delivery service was also great and would recommend to anyone in Vic.

Went for the first time on the weekend to get some veggie plants and herbs, and oh my god. What a fun 1.5 hours I spent there! There are 3 sections + a cafe. Plenty of fun things for the kids to look at and some really great and affordable outdoor/indoor plants, and (surprisingly) crystals and gems! We bought our punnets and asked for a box to transport them in the car, but they had ran out. So staff offered little trays instead which was really great.

My mum also bought an indoor bamboo tree as a gift for a friend and the cashier offered pamphlets on care advice for looking after the tree. I thought it was a great touch.

Overall an unexpected (great) experience from shopping to the actual customer service. You could never run out of things to look at!

Popped in for a browse and ended up staying for a meal. Plants, Cacti, Orchids, Ponds, fish and more.
You need to take your time and check out the huge array of plants and flowers, wander in and enjoy the ponds and waterfalls or finish off in the Cafe where you will find a large range of delicious food.
Really like this place well worth a visit.

Garden world I found is the best place to buy plants there all healthy great services also when needed love it there ️

This place impresses with its variety of plants and decorations for the garden and home! And always competent and qualified assistance of specialists!

We placed an order for 28 Saliva, the staff gave us updates on a regular cadence and helped us arrange delivery for only ~$15 to our suburb (50km away from the shop). All the flowers were received on time with great quality!

Was raining outside, dry inside purchased succulents at a bargain price. Huge range service was quick. I will be returning. Awesome place.

You need a full day to experience this place.

Pamela, the indoor plants buyer helped me out last week and I cannot reiterate how fabulous she was and the variety of rare and uncommon stock she has clearly ordered in. Super well priced too. This place is a gem, 10/10 service. I have insufferably raved non-stop about my experience. Well worth the trip to Braeside!

Totally loved visiting this place. Plants were very well presented in their right environment. Also have attraction for the kids. Prices are very reasonable too.

Wow, amazing! I loved this place, the variety of plants was huge, the quality of the plants good, I felt the price wasn’t cheap but not over the top either. Lunch in the cafe was delicious, will definitely return.
I regularly visit this amazing place, especially Collector’s Corner, I make an afternoon of it, visiting the various nurseries and dining at the cafe for lunch.

Very attentive staff, well laid out with a great selection of very high quality plants. Allso I have noticed that they have very compative prices which is worth noting and very reasonable delivery costs.

Large Plant Shop, lots of exotic and collector's plants. Plenty of parking out front and back.

Cafe and toilet available at the centre.

The travelling distance is not an issue when I know I have an enormous variety of plants to choose from. Prices are quite high but what do you expect from plants which are rare and not available in all other nurseries.
I have spent $$$ each time I visit and James and the team are always willing to help and accept returns if any plant sadly does not survive its journey into it’s new home. Never get this service anywhere in any nursery in Melbourne.
