Gardens Caravan Park Port Fairy

Great friendly park and welcoming for others in related parks to use the facilities occasionally. Thank you.

We stayed for 4 nights, but left 1 night early as bad weather was coming in. Great park, well located, good site fees, but unfortunately this was our 2nd visit to Port Fairy and both times it has blown a Gail for our entire stay, disappointing as it's a lovely place to visit otherwise.

We've stayed here twice, once in our tent and the 2nd time we booked a pet friendly cabin. The cabin was in a great spot and had everything we needed. It was clean and well maintained. The holiday park is great. It's huge with lots of options for caravans and tents and lovely facilities. It's a quick walk across the road and up a little hill to the beach and a lovely cafe where we got our morning coffee every day.
The staff at the holiday park are lovely, very friendly and helpful (thanks Wendy and Danielle). We've already booked our next stay and can't wait to come back.

Don’t book online. You will be allocated the worst possible site and they won’t tell you where. It’s apparently up to you to then call them to find out what site you get and it’s not negotiable. If you want a refund they will then charge you a $30 admin fee.
Update: confirming I was not given a site number when I booked in June for January. I had to call them to find out, to which they replied ‘Well you should’ve called! ’

We stayed here for 3 nights in our caravan.
The facilities and location are fantastic with amazing sunset.
Highly recommend this caravan park.

Wonderful staff: when a colleague on a work trip left an electric toothbrush then went back to Melbourne, they actually delivered the lost item to me in Warrnambool!

Tidy site, a bit on the costly side, well maintained facilities. Check in and out is completely remote, drive in and out without needing to get to the office once. Good location close to the beach and town.

Nice park in a great location. The amenities were in definite need of a clean, no matter what time of the day we used them but this would be the only fault we had with the park as everything else was great and we would like to visit again.

Great local pet friendly caravan park which is right beside the river in Port Fairy.

Friendly staff and great facilities make this a very enjoyable place to stay when in the area.

This is an excellent park, big powered sites, walking distance to great beach and Cafe and walking distance to town. Stayed over the folk festival. They did an amazing job, will stay next year. Have also stayed off festival and loved it. Thanks for a great weekend.

Love visiting port Fairy and staying at the Gardens caravan Park lovely staff and not far from the town of Port fairy or the beaches it's great

Beautiful caravan park right next door to a little botanical garden and in walking distance to the picturesque town of Port Fairy. Very big but well spread out. Friendly informative staff. Would definitely recommend!

Fantastic park, large sites, great not having to code in or out, dog friendly, quite, clean amenities & park, great location and an enjoyable stay

The caravan park is scenery place for camping. There are enough choices for children who love sports like tennis, footy, netball and playgrounds. And they have very friendly staff

The only negative sides are:
1) too many mosquitoes, prepare enough next week
2) the amenities are a bit outdated

Quite possibly one of the best campsites I've been to. We had a pitch right in the riverfront which was absolutely incredible. Stunning views, nice and quiet, flat pitch and plenty of room. Only reason I can't give it a 5 star is that the toilets were a bit grubby. Urinals were clogged for a day or two. I gather it was Christmas and perhaps not any cleaning staff, but I think there should have been as it became a bit off putting. But regardless, lovely campsite and definitely recommend! I'll certainly be back again.

Awesome caravan park. Facilities old but well maintained. Stayed in a caravan and got the BIGGEST and most AMAZING spot I have ever come across. It was huge, with river views and gorgeous pine trees for shade. To top of off the whole sit was fully grassed. Absolute stunner of a spot.

It's OK camp kitchen didn't offer much BBQ didn't work fridge and freezer left a lot to be desired

Wanted to be close to town and yes just a short stroll
Wanted to be near water and yes we are
But receptionist may have smiled at least once and explained that 0we would have a stroll to the toilets in an old block and then another stroll in the other direction to the showers in in an old block and to do laundry you have to unplug motor home and drive to laundry as not strong enough to carry at our age
If this had been explained with the slightest bit of friendliness we would have chosen another site more suitable to our age and capacity and more modern amenities block with everything in one block
That being said it is a convenient location and clean and very tidy
Just a smile and friendlier reception would have been appreciated
Would just like to add weather is cold wet and icy wind which makes being so far from amenities harder

Excellent in every respect.beautiful gardens to walk around, incredible carved statues. Really good thoroughly enjoyed our stay

Just stopped in to use the public dump point. The staff member was very friendly and helpful
