Gami Chicken & Beer reviews
52We have been having dinner at Gami werribee almost weekly. Great food good price and very friendly customer service. Definetely a gem in Werribee town centre.
The fried chicken is the best and the sauce is really good. Service is friendly and atmosphere is welcoming. Seatings at the back has calming view of the garden. Toilets are clean.
We had a whole chicken, soy sauce and yang-num. Its of good standard. I am happy with the quality but one star is missing just for the quantity of the chicken and also there should be more veggies.
I ordered via ubereats at the Werribee store with my friends. We bought a whole chicken. The 2 flavors we bought were garlic soy and sweet chili. It was RAW (pink when it should be white). We bought a whole chicken and the fact that we had to wait over an hour, they treated us like we were lying, it was inedible and they couldn't even reimburse us is ridiculous.the best they could do was give us small fries when we wasted over $60. Extremely disappointed.
My family and I have been here numerous times. The food is consistently good, always a good experience. We'll keep coming back.
Food is ok a bit pricey.presentation is good. Service i notice on of the girl taking order need to smile a bit your in the hospitality trade thats not the game better improve your skills.but overall foods ok.
They have a robot! And the food is great. We had prawn mandu and chicken corndue. We were struggling to finish the food - the servings are generous.
We visited this restaurant today. I was a bit sceptical about Korean cuisine but my son and wife were all for this.
The service was fast, the staff polite. The food was served by a robot which was a new experience for us!
The food was hot, fresh and tasty, though a bit spicy. But definitely tasty. The portion size is a bit on the larger side. We'd have liked interaction with the wait staff while ordering. But they expect you to scan and order OR order at the counter - so no information of the portion size. A good thing is that they have takeaway containers that are self help.
Also water, cutlery, napkins, glasses and water is self serve. The chips were very crispy though without salt. I requested some, was promised, but was never served.
A bit pricey, but definitely good food with generous portions.
This was a novel dining experience. The mozzarella sticks were delicious but one was enough. We ordered the chicken wings fondue dish. The chicken was well cooked but lacked flavour and was dry. Same as the fondue. It was quite mild and a little heavy. The dish needed some freshness and acidity on the side to balance it out. There were a couple of generic sauces, but in all, it was a miss for me. I was hoping for a punch in the face experience but instead I got a kiss on the cheek. Cute distraction was the cute robot that floated around delivering food and drinks.
Came here on a weeknight and it's the best Gami joint we've been to so far. From the service, cleanliness to menu and food everything was perfect. Staff are so polite and enthusiastic, they take pride in their job. Food was generous portions and we're done properly instead of being pumped out and lacking.
We got chicken, beef bulgogi, seafood pancake and prawn mandu all of which were done amazingly with plenty of ingredients. Thanks for not being stingy on food and being so accommodating.
Decent Korean food in Werribee, it does the job of Korean fried chicken, however the chicken is kind of flavourless in comparison to it’s competitor Nene where it’s battered in the seasoning, the prices are also slightly high and the cheese makes you feel full. Cheese sticks however we’re pretty good
Amazing food and drinks! Bit on the expensive side but worth it with the portions and quality of food! Really Lovley staff aswell ️
Food and service is very good. You can order many different type of chickens including hot and spacy sauce and lots of cheese.
Good Korean food however the lady who brought our good ‘gave a sigh’ when we asked for a bigger plate to have our rice instead of having it straight from the bowl. That’s just poor customer service in my opinion.
Chicken, chips and sauces are all incredible here. Not that cheap, but definitely worth getting for a special occasion. Staff are always friendly when I've been in the past
Food was ok, nothing stands out. Japchae was salty and noodle slightly undercooked. Chicken was moist, juicy and really crispy, but sauce was nothing to write home about. Service staff was excellent and very attentive. Atmosphere of the restaurant was really good and we managed to sit near the window at the back that offer good view of the river
The salad was off.
You have to check your products first before serve to the customer.
And it changed taste and quality are not the same as before.
Please watch what are you doing in the future.
The food was to die for. The service was even better. It is very uncommon to find great service in restaurants. The staff was absolutely brilliant.
If you’re going to cancel my order just before you close the least you could do is cancel when I first place it and not when it’s time for it to arrive. So disappointed in the service.
I've been eating Gami in the CBD and the quality of meet was much better.
I've been very disappointed the last 2 orders.
I think they take advantage of the take away, people are not onsite to complain.
Last time we notified Uber thinking that it could help but unfortunately it didn't.
Knowing we spend around $65 (on uber) we expect a piece of brest chicken.
Won't order again unfortunately!
