Gami Chicken & Beer

Got recommended this place from a family member. Really nice little shop, quick service, big portions and good prices. Easy to order via qr codes and overall really good dining experience.

Each time we come to Chaddy we keep saying we'll try something new to eat but we always, and I mean ALWAYS end up here. The lunch special burger is a fav for us.

Food good, house beer is ok. Fried chicken with Potato heaven is great comfort food. Recommend sauce on side.

Great service and food. Can never go wrong with the corn cheese, and got spicy wings which have a good spice to them, not too spicy.

They didn't ask me how I would apply chicken and sauce. Thank you for ignoring.they did it their way.and I didn't even get the sauce. Thanks to you, it's a happy weekend.

Very nice korean restaurant. We went in after lunch time so there was no long queue. The shop practices Covid rules which includes QR code, hand satinising prior entry and social distancing.
We ordered chitcken katshu and spicy pork bulgogi. There was a nice lunch. Taste little bit salty, so request less salt when put order. Chicken katshu was crunchy and tasty.
Interestingly, we ve been given a sample of new dessert which they ll launch soon. We were so happy with the experience. Very recommended shop.

Honestly some of the best chicken I have ever had and at such an affordable price. I always get my lunch here when shopping at Chadstone.

Ordered kimchi fried rice and beef bulgogi. Highly recommend the bulgogi. Succulent beef. Generous servings of food.

Great food. The chicken was fresh and very tasty, fries seemed good presentation was fine too. Very nice staff.

Loved the crispy chicken burger.their crispy fries are also very different and special with a crunchy coat!

One of the worst services I’ve ever experienced.

I came here in Black Friday with my family of 4 and I must say they were busy, but the waiter told us that we had to wait 30 minutes before we got a table. We thought it was reasonable as other places was packed. After 25 minutes I asked them when it’s our turn, the waiter said that we’re next in line. We waited for another 10 minutes and during this time they filled in 4-5 tables for the people that was behind us in line.

At this point we had been waiting for 35 minutes and my whole family was very tired of waiting, especially my 4 year old daughter that was very hungry. This really got me angry so I asked them why. And they said it’s because we’re 4 pp group and that they had to follow the social distancing rule so they let the table of 2 get their tables first.

Which I can accept, but what I can’t accept is the lack of information that they gave us and lack of sympathy they have for a family with a young child. If they told me from start that I had to wait longer than 30 minutes I wouldn’t wait, if they told me about that it’s easier for a two people to get a table I would let my mom and daughter eat first and I would go elsewhere.after 45 minutes of waiting the table we were actually really looking forward to a nice meal but it ended in disappointment as the chicken was dry and the udon was way too salty. Definitely the worst service and dining experience I’ve had in Melbourne for a long time, won’t be a next time for me.

Never again the food only arrived 2 hours after ordering from Menulog. It was cold and inedible. We have lodged a formal complaint with Menulog! In addition when I tried to ring the restaurant to query the status of the order they definitely hung up on me!
Zero stars and would not recommend

With the food courts at Chadstone being so busy at the moment with the 20 person limit, Gami is handling the situation tremendously. We left our name and number with the host, and kept on shopping, then 15 minutes later got a call that a table was ready for us. Our lunch was yum and timely, and the staff were so friendly.

Been a loyal costumer since it was open but am disappointed after eating here a couple of months ago. Ordered the cheesy tteokkbokki - the sauce seemed to be watered down, bigger slices of uncooked cabbage, less than six small slices of fishcake, and rice cakes were uncooked. Also ordered the pork bulgogi - again, no flavour because sauce was watery (maybe watered down too), the pork smelled, and there was more lettuce than meat and rice. Owner seemed to have changed. Food is similarly of poor quality to the Fountain Gate Gami. Very disappointing.

So we just had lunch here. Ordered the half boneless chicken and a chicken Parma with chips.
Half boneless chicken came out quite quickly.
25mins later the chicken Parma still had not come out. Asked where it was? He came back and said it wont be to long and asked if I wanted to cancel it.
Meaning they forgot about it.food eventually came and was almost black from rushing to cook it.
Tasted terrible. I asked two staff what had happened and they couldn't answer. Just an excuse of oh maybe busy.didn't even bother to ask the cooks.
Noone own up to forgetting to cook my order. Terrible Customer service. Not happy at all

I had lunch today,
It was the first time having Korean chicken.
The soy chicken and pork dish were great.
I’m really happy with these foods.
Highly recommend!
