Gami Chicken & Beer

Its so sad to see what has happened to this restaurant chain. I ordered beef bulgogi, the portion was way less the money u pay for it. Dry salad and i asked for hot sauce as the bulgogi was not spicy enough and they charged me extra for sauce. I mean come on isnt korean sauce a part of their meals anyway? Korean food is known for their spiciness and we need to pay extra for it! Sadly korean food chains have lost quality in Australia. Good for people with no taste. Dont go to this outlet.

Consistently great food. It's not a place for customer service as such but I can't fault them

Although food tasted good we were disappointed with the portion size. For the amount you pay, you would expect more. We ordered 2x Bulgogi, Kimchi Fried Rice &
A whole boneless chicken. The Bulgogi only filled half of the medium sized containers and had more vermicelli and veg (lots of onion) than beef. Kimchi fried rice was average but the boneless chicken delicious as usual.

Service is great and we have been there multiple times. Unfortunately they changed their menu again and the portion size have shrunk so bad. It is a big shame.

Gami Chicken Point Cook has, Fantastic food, Friendly service and Great team! Can't go wrong for a family night out or a dinner and a couple of cold ones with your mates! Owner is super friendly and great atmosphere! 10/10 would recommend

Food was good. Everything tasted just right. Not spectacular but i would come back again. Not overly expensive. We ordered ssam, kimchi pancakes, hotteok and cheesey corn. If you sign up for their app and refer a friend you can get $10-15 off currently which is a pretty good deal

Poor quality of Half and half chicken
The coated chicken lacked the coating qty. It felt superdry to eat.
Not happy with the deteriorating qualoty of Gami Chicken.

Second time I've been there. Really love the Japchae. The staff are nice and very attentive. It is a little expensive but the portions are large and the food is very delicious.

The food is absolutely to die for, would recommend the boneless chicken as it just melts in your mouth. Mmmmmm, off to gamis I go

Ordered boneless chicken and there’s Chicken Breast ONLY.
I explained to the manager as soon as I got it and she said she will talk to the owner and call me back but I even haven’t got it. It already happens like 3 times. Why always same thing happening?

I ordered family meal at gami. The food were all soggy and stale. Chicken still had feathers on its skin. We had to airfry the chicken, dumplings and the fries twice which was absolutely ridiculous. Dumplings tasted as if they were microwaved, not fried. Sliders were the only exception but it was barely tasty and everything else was totally not worth the price or edible. Even the sauce tasted odd. Honey mustard sauce had a strong condense milk flavour with an odd colour and the sweet chilli sauce had a strong ramen powder taste. Absolutely horrendous and disappointing experience. NEVER EVER am I going back here to order fried chicken or sweet chilli sauce. Are yall even serving us food? I'm traumatised and scarred this was even food from gami. I would not recommend this place even for a change. I'm Korean and this is not even close to Korean food that I know of. This aint even food to begin with.

I enjoy Korean food but this Gami chicken is too bad. Food is over priced with poor quality. Original chicken is very oily and tasted so bad. Almost all the varieties are flavours less and tastes inedible.

Got sick yesterday & today after purchasing through Door Dash, not sure what made me feel sick is the chicken or the dipping sauce.

I've been ordering from here since the start of 2020, and i can say it one of my favourite take outs. Totally reccomend, there chicken is just BOOM and i love there burger and chips. Every time i order it fresh and just Goodness:) 5 Stars for sure.

I order fried chicken from Gami at least once a week. (Delivered by Uber or Door Dash)

I must say their food is consistent and sauces are awesome. Prepared and boxed well to travel, so food is still fresh when delivered. Also never had to wait too long.

4 Stars because of the price (bit over priced) and quantity (servings are on the small side)

Awesome flavour! Kind staffs.
I had whole chicken and tteokbokki. Everything was perfect.
I hope Gami will open at Werribee soon.

I do not get what all the fuss is about. I found it a little dry and the value has to improve. My housemates enjoy it. I just can't give it a rave. I just feel it's cheap chicken at premium prices.

The staff are very friendly and attentive though and earned 5 stars but it was not enough for the food quality. I've tried a couple of times and each time the same feeling of disappointment.

I guess it's not for everyone and they seem to have a lot of loyal customers which is great to see.

Can't understand why people like the fried chicken here, dry small bird dissected cremated and served with your choice of sauce and soooooo overpriced. 2 birds and chips for $80. Just maybe we are at a bad day for them, but SERIOUSLY. Better Korean fried chicken in Point Cook.

I have eaten here a few times, needless to say the food is absolutely incredible! But what has compelled me to write this review is the sheer hospitality that their staff offer. Some of my friends bought dinner elsewhere but could not dine in due to COVID rules. Upon request, not only did the staff at Gami allow my friends to bring their dinner into Gami and eat with us, but also provided them the same hospitality they would us. This means a lot as it is rarely appreciated nowadays for people to bring in food from elsewhere into restaurants.

This is customer service done right and beautifully! Will definitely come here again, and again and yet again!
