Gami Chicken & Beer

Came again and it was disappointing. Only one floor staff who was not even serving customers. We were shown the QR code to self serve with the order, not easy to use and confusing, needed to prepay with no option to paypass or tap.

Had the big chicken meal that was meant to be for 4 people, which we only had 3 pieces of chicken and the tasteless rice cake left. Definitely not what it was promoted for 1.2kg chicken.

Should be one star but the staff was still lovely, answered my questions when I got confused.
. Even though there is no more service.

I ordered my typical garlic soy chicken; this time in carnegie branch, and ended up getting a mixture of sweet chili on the sauce itself. It is like the serving spoon used on the sweet chili has been also used for the soy garlic.

I never ordered half soy garlic and half sweet chili as i am not a fan of sweet chili.

Best fried chicken! I first had Gami at a family birthday dinner and head here whenever I have a craving! As luck would have it, Gami is literally 200m inside our Melbourne Lockdown area!

I came here with about 11 people for my birthday celebration a few weeks ago.
Their fried chicken never disappoints whether it’s original or flavoured. Moreover, all of their other dishes (such as tteokbokki and cheese & corn, and fish cake soup) are delicious. Service was fantastic as well - kind and helping waiting staff. All of my friends liked their food as well.
I will definitely be coming back or order takeaway food from here in the future.

Ordered original fried chicken but it was the worst fried chicken I have ever tasted. Seriously totally not worth the money. A pack of frozen fried chicken from Costco cooked in air fryer tasted way better than this.

I ordered a fried chicken with sweet chilli chicken for take away and it was disappointing. I came here as i was recommended and it was just too bland. The fried chicken.eww.won’t come ever again: (but the atmosphere here looks great though.

Avoid this place! Terrible food. Order half chicken and all we got was bones. Total rubbish and a scam considering the cost.

Always great chicken and beer at Gami’s. This venue also offered free little savoury snacks and picked vegetables.

Gami chicken and beer has a lively atmosphere with a young crowd. There are small tables that can be pushed together for larger groups and also a communal table in the middle. The food is delicious and price is reasonable. We got boneless spicy and soy garlic and never looked back! Highly recommended!

My chicken (bone in) was amazing. Spicy and juicy. My wife’s chicken wasn’t so crispy. The kimchi pancake was great but not enough sauce. I ordered take away. But next time might eat in. The restaurant looked very clean and nice.

Attentive and friendly service service a delicious range of Korean snacks and staples. Well known for their fried chicken, also available boneless.

Food is delicious! Service is friendly and professional. Best way to spend a family night out. We’ll be back:)

If you're a skip I'd advise against the hot sauce but other than that, this place is perfect. Tasty sides.

You know it's good- it's right there in the business name. Delicious and plentiful fried chicken served with tasty dipping sauces. And beer. There is other stuff on the menu and i'm not sure why, maybe it's a legal requirement? Anyway this is a Gami chicken outlet and Gami chicken rules so it gets a very solid three stars.

At first, I was sceptical about coming to eat here. My concerns were about feeding 15 people for a Christmas gathering; whether they could accommodate for such a large number. Beatrice (store manager) personally answered my inquiries over the phone without any hesitation. The moment I walked in, I was greeted by the most wonderful staff. They were so patient and understanding. I observed the look of the restaurant it looked immaculate. The service is excellent. They attended to our every need. Always with a smile and friendly manner. I’ve never had Korean food before, and, it is delicious.
I had the eight pieces of chicken with salad. The sauces were delicious with my meal. My staff enjoyed themselves, and we had a great experience.

An evening well spent with my friends at Gami, Carnegie. With almost 13 outlets across Melbourne, Gami is very famous for delicious Korean menu and Fried Chicken. We tried their ‘Fry To Heaven’, Fried Chicken and it was flavoursome. Chicken was crispy and incredibly cooked. For the flavour we tried Sweet Chilli and Soy Garlic, the popular choices. The service was good and staff were kind. The place is well maintained and it was a laid back ambiance. Overall, it was a great experience and would love to recommend to anyone who loves Fried Chicken.
