Gami Chicken & Beer

We got our order delivered and everything was DELICIOUS! Generous with portions and flavoursome. Original boneless fried chicken was crispy outside and juicy on the inside, absolutely yummy. Gochujang Chicken was tasty, beautiful sauce came with tender chicken. Prawn Mandu was so yummm and full of prawn inside. Beef bulgogi was exactly what we were after. This restaurant is a gem around the corner from our place. Highly recommended and we will definitely revisit Gami Chicken. Thanks for your flavourful dishes.

Placed a phone order for pick up. When we got home the chips weren’t there. They had got our order for the flavour of the sauce wrong as well. Also, 17 pieces of boneless chicken used to be enough to feed us. The pieces were a good size. Now they are the size of nuggets. So it’s like you get 17 nuggets for $42. An absolute rip off! No customer service when we complained. Said we had to drive all the way back to pick up our chips! We won’t be going back, Gami used to be great.

Poor service unfortunately. I understand they were under the pump due to online orders but more management is required then to manage load of orders. Food took over forty minutes to arrive on our table. The quantity of food also felt less than usual for Gami. My personal choice in general of the Chicken Parmigiana was average. Not much flavour or seasoning.

Hoping this was a one off for this place but it seems like ever since Gami started becoming a big franchise the quality has unfortunately dropped.

Terrible service. Gave most of our order to the wrong table without an explanation. The salad side dish that did arrive by itself was wrong, and they tried to overcharge us for food and drinks. Won't be back.

We visited this shop again on Sunday night January 15th. I think the ownership has changed and the new owner’s very nice. The staff (two waiters and the cashier girl) are very friendly and reliable as well. The food is very tasty. Their Potato heaven is definitely a must try. Overall this place is a very good cozy chicken and beer restaurant in the neighbourhood and I hope they get the support they deserve.

Fast and excellent service. We brought our toddler with us and they were very accommodating. Food was delicious too. Can't go wrong with spicy coated boneless chicken and corn cheese.

We came close to closing and they are still welcoming. The food came really quickly and was really good.

Delicious Korean fried chicken, but our large serve seemed smaller than it should be, box wasn’t full. The portion sizes seemed a lot smaller than the other Gami stores I’ve been to in the past. Order was also not ready when website said it would be.

Chicken is good but I ordered some new items they have now and quality is really low. Not the same gami than before.

We ordered food from here last night for the first time, it was tasty but unfortunately cold, as we live 5 minutes away we found this disappointing. I realise this maybe the fault of the delivery service so I am just bringing this to your attention. Thanks Terry.

Nice place to try the Cheesy chicken with delicious taste! As well as the vibe of the restaurant is cozy and have a good view to look at the street!

Delicious Korean fried chicken at a reasonable price.

I got the original fried chicken with soy garlic on the side and the mozzarella sticks. The fried chicken was very flavourful and tasty. The mozzarella sticks had a great cheese pull to them.

Expect to spend around $20 (half) / $40 (full) for the fried chicken and $10 for sides.

Ordered on their website, live order tracking said it was ready to pick up. After arriving was told order wasn't ready and online tracking was actually real. Waited total 56 minutes for food to come out. Got home, most of it cold. Waste of time.

I've ordered takeaway food from gami-Carnegie so many times in the past two years. But today's experience was very irritating and made me feel discriminated and violated. The staff asked my name and I said 'Tim' clearly when I placed my order, but when I came back and picked the order, the customer name shows on the receipt is 'Chin'. There were many times my name is spelled 'Kim' here and that is totally fine but what does 'CHIN' stands for? I went back to the shop and asked him what the letters stood for and he replied that he didn't catch my name cuz the mask. Then use 'Chin' to replace? Did you forget a letter and Which one? Isn't that racist? Shouldn't I think it's discrimination? It's 2022 and I can still get that kind of experience at Gami. What a good job soo well done!
I can understand if it was a work mistake caused by not listening clearly or masks. I would like to say that it is necessary for the service staff to make a double check with the customer for such ambiguous matters. BUT I don't think it was a mistake and made me feel 100% that was entirely intentional. Order number TA788.

Great place for Korean food, the fried chicken is very nice and would highly recommend getting their chicken coated by soy garlic.
Potato heaven is also a must try!

You should change your closing hours to 8.45pm

Not even close to 9.30 (it was 8.35) and there is no dining in. A lot of the menu not available as well. So yeah change your closing hours to 8.45, then people know, instead of wasting time going there and finding out it's basically closed.

Staff are really friendly and professional. We had an enjoyable meal after such a long day ~ much recommend
