Gami Chicken & Beer

I'm very disappointed. Ordered here for the first time today. Tteokbokki was a watered down version of the original recipe - very bland with literally only three (yes, three) pieces of rice cakes, four pieces of fish cakes, and perhaps a tablespoon of the base sauce. Trying to cut corners, are we, Gami Fountain Gate? Mandu was chunky, dry, and, again, bland. So different to the Chadstone one. Not a way to do business, guys.

Review based on an order of half boneless chicken and cheesy corn on 19th Feb 20. The chicken was mostly skins and not much meat.
Cheesy corn base tasted similar to an extremely sweetened condensed milk. Just a thin layer of cheese at the top. The two of us had barely 2 spoonful before we couldn’t have any more. It was repulsive.

We have been to Gami many times before and we had enjoyed our meals. I suppose that’s why quality of food was all the more noticeable.

Best chips in the area! Fantastic with our without sauce. Chicken is tender with a delicious crispy exterior.

Ordered 3 x chicken parmas. Worst meal weve had since dennys in usa 10 years ago. Thinest piece of chicken, really just breadcrumbs and heaped on american style cheese. Wont return.

Disappointed. No customer service from staff. Food at a much lower standard than other Gami restaurants. Too many additional charges

My friend and I came here after the movies, we got a bunch of boneless chicken marinated in different sauces. Honestly the best chicken I've had in a while, the spicy sauces are super spicy so be warned.
Quite expensive, but damn is it worth it, the chicken is delicious.
Give it a go if you wanna treat yourself.

I was waiting 30 minutes for my order and was advised by staff it will take another 3 minutes for my order to come. However in another 5 minutes the order did not come hence I had to leave no one even bothered to ask me.

So good! Great service, excellent food and even decent pricing too - My partner and I shared some dishes and it only cost $17 a head, and we were extremely full! Will definitely be coming back here for some more sweet chilli chicken!

Finally tried it recently and loved every bit of it. Potatoe heaven is truly, heaven. Can't recommend anything more from the menu. Spicy chicken was really good and soy garlic was great too, just a bit sweet for my liking.

Overall loved the vibe, would definetly go again.

If you're looking for a switch up from Schnitz, Grilled, or any other restaurant that aims to provide excellent food without making you feel the need to put on a suit, check these guys out! The sauces are awesome, the service is excellent and, above all else, the chicken is juicy and worth the money. Highly recommend the boneless chicken marinated in the sweet chilli or spicy sauce, chips, and the potato heaven!

Gami is my favourite Korean food. But in this restaurant they put Indian Language Music sometime. That’s the only one thing I don’t like Because I don’t understand the language.

I think they have a new chef. (chicken wings seemed different, but it's been awhile between visits)

Feels like the chicken quality has gone down a little bit, the chicken seem to have been fried using old oil so they not golden yellow but more of oily brown colours: (other food taste great and friendly staff services. Just hold their main dish can retain true quality over time especially since it's not exactly cheap chicken.

Not the best parma ive had, but the wedges dish was AHHHmazing.the girl that served us was a bit too full on.maybe learn to adjust to your customers level.

Amazing Korean deep fried chicken. Try the pancake as well. Probably my favorite chicken restaurant.

Chicken and beer at a reasonable price. A good place to have a quick dinner and a few beers before going out.

Well what can i say? Gami chicken is the best fried chicken. Ever! The taste is amazing! The sauces are the best! They even have a variety of different meals now. The service is good and they give you your food fairly quickly.

Delightful boneless chicken. If you're in the mood for something a little (or a lot) superior to the colonel then head here. Also I must recommend their cheesy corn. I could eat it all day long.

Great chicken. The meals are huge. Beer on tap is well priced and good. Service is fast. Yes i would go again.

Awesome dinner lickingly good sauces with fresh chicken. I love the ambience n decor of this place and how it's laid back it is. Their garlic soy sauce is the best. Also liked the creamy corn. We're usually get the 12 pieces chicken with 2 sauces. Comes out reasonably fast. Nice hot and fresh.
