Gaijin Japanese Fusion reviews
70This is my favourite Sushi Restaurant, my best selections are Tasmanian and Melbourian rolls, best service ever, eating her always makes me feel like home 'Venezuela'
I try to go at least once a month. My favourite sushi in Melbourne. Tasmanian roll highly recommended!
What that awesome fresh sashimi!
Scallops are really delicious.
But the weekend price is expensive.
You can go to Mon to Fri for buffet, it’s great idea to saving money.
Finally a quality japanese restaurant. Rolls were really good & the salmon sashimi was really fresh.will come back again
Food was good! Tuna bomb was the bomb, only thing probably was the lack of tight rolling, kinda made it easily breakable. But other than yum yum. Staff were friendly, clean toilets, nice set up. Wouldn't suggest the all you can eat, doesn't really make sense all in all. Good good
We shared a family dinner here with very excited relatives from London and I am sad to say it was a disappointing experience. The service was slow, quality of the food poor (found a piece of hair in our sushi platter) and some of the water glasses were very dirty. The waiter had a friendly attitude and apologised for the incidents, but overall still would not recommend. If you’re after an authentic Japanese dining experience and more traditional flavoured menu items, you’re looking at the wrong restaurant.
Had a surprise birthday party here, the food was amazing, service was friendly and attentive! The staff was very friendly and accommodating.
Lovely all you can eat sushi. And service was very fun. Shout out to Albert, who made our night great.
I have been looking forward to visiting this place for so long but what a let down it was! I went with my husband.
The miso soup was really weird and not nice. We both didn't like it and agreed it was the worst miso we have had.
The salad that was garnish on the plate. Was literally mixed salad that was days old and wilted. The chef acknowledged it when we spoke up.
The kingfish. I'm not sure if you guys have ever had yellow/grey kind of coloured kingfish but this was the first time we have ever had kingfish like that. It tasted old and unfresh like the tuna and salmon on the plate too.
I have not been this disappointed with my food in years! I certainly expected this restaurant to have better quality food than a take away joint at least.
The staff were apologetic but this is really about the food and how unfresh it is. It just felt disrespectful having old wilted and unfresh food put in front of you. I would never do that.
I hope this place improves because I really wanted to try their all you can eat sushi on my next visit but I definitely won't be back until it lifts its standards.
Second time I had the all-you-can-eat at this place and most of the sushi are very tasty but Sashimi was very average. Some of the sushis kept falling apart so it was annoying to eat. Servings of sashimi were very small and took longer and longer to be made and served as well as cut poorly each time after the first plate. Sashimi were very huge chunks and poorly sliced by the time we had our 3rd small serving. For $50 I expected Sashimi that were at least properly sliced.
Credit where it's due, sushi is great if it doesn't crumble apart often and staff are friendly:)
