I go here because it is closer than other hardware outlets! The guys and girls out in the timber yard are great always very helpful and polite. I can’t say the same about the check out! Complaining about your work load or work hours with other staff shouldn’t be done at the checkout! Also a ‘hello how are you? ’ wouldn’t hurt either!

No one could be bothered to help.

Great and friendly customer service know what they are talking about. Prices are very competitive to anywhere else plus give full time employment to locals over their 3 stores in Ballarat.

If you want great customer service, get to Mitre 10. Better than the other big hardware retailers

I wish every place could have staff who are as friendly and helpful as Sebastopols Mitre Ten.shopping would be a much better experience.

A little dearer than Bunnings for a lots of things but willing to spend the extra money for convenience and excellent service. Don't think I've ever had an issue with anything purchased from here.

Had my daughter with me so I couldn't load anything myself. The staff couldn't have been more helpful. Hard to justify going to the Green Warehouse ever again.

Welcome change from 'big green shed'. Attentive experienced staff that dont just point you in right direction, they assist you with good product knowledge and willingness to help. Prices competitive but its the location and service that shines.

Went to this store from Bacchus Marsh for the first time today. It was fantastic, the staff were friendly and professional. The horticulturalist was outstanding he helped so much with pointers and knew his plants inside out. I will be recommending this store to all my friends and family. OUTSTANDING.if there were more than 5 stars I would give them for the assistance we received in the garden centre.

No complaints know their stuff, very helpful gone so far to cut a key blank with immobilizer chip I supplied for me only charged $4.50 cutting fee, Mister Mint wanted to charge me $120 for a key I got the key online for $10 posted with the help to get key cut thanks G Gay & Co:)

Gay's has all the things you need at reasonable prices. Knowledgable staff and helpful service. Plus they are a local business so keep your $$ in Ballarat.

Convenient and easy parking make this place so much better than the bigger brand stores. The staff know their stuff and are easy to find if they don't find you first.

Excellent service, every time I go there they are more than happy to help out with whatever you need, be it building supplies or even plants for the garden. Have never had an issue with the prices either.

I knew what I wanted from a previous visit, but no one came to ask me if I wanted some help with anything else. I had a question & had to stop a passing employee for info on what I was buying. The young girl on the checkout could not have been more disinterested.

It's good hardware shop, but it's don't have everything in stock. However service is excellent, they will try and help you out.
