Great burgers. One of the best burgers I've had in a while. Good service and friendly staff. Highly recommended.

The food was delicious and the service was quick. I would definitely recommend trying out this cafe.

Lovely staff, incredible sourdough, good coffee, and generous portions (esp the amount of avo!). Just awesome all round. Sweet potato fritter deserves its own mention and cute biscuit choices for the kids. Yum!

Loved this place! The food was amazing, tried the Berry & Mango French Toast. Not only did it look beautiful, it tasted so fresh, delicious and well balanced flavour (not overly sweet, just right). Paired it with an apple, carrot & ginger juice which was freshly made and so refreshing. Would definitely recommend for breakfast. Although gets busy, the service is fast & efficient.

We visited lakes entrance in January. Had breakfast there almost every day. We loved the food there. Excellent place. Loved the chili Scrambled egg. Highly recommend.

They say that you eat with your eyes. But mine nearly bulged out of my head when his smashed avo and my berry mango french toast arrived at our street side bench. Even a passerby ogled at the artistry on our plates. And each dish offered a taste sensation. Funkey Monkey is an essential stopover for every visitor to Lakes Entrance.

Had breakfast here today. We ordered poached eggs, bacon, sausage and mushrooms and hot drinks.the eggs were over cooked along with the bacon. The sausage was horrible. Hot drinks were lukewarm and the coffee not very nice.the price was over the top also.

Food was lovely. Shame they wanted to charge us $4 for a bit of tomato sauce with our breakfast. Won’t be back.

Great breakfast. Have the Eggs Benedict, home made hollandaise source PERFECT! Coffee always nice. Service exceptional. You must have breakfast here at least once!

Do yourself a favor and visit this lovely restaurant Funkey Monkey cafe in Lake Entrance. They made us feel welcomed and gave us an amazing experience. Loved the house made savoury muffins and southern fried chicken burger. Highly recommend!

Yum burgers and they look special. We ordered one beef and one vegetarian burger. Both tasted nice. Chips are nice and crispy. Worth trying!

Wow, what a flavour sensation, chili scrambled eggs with beetroot brioche was off the chart. Highly recommend! Kids had waffles which were demolished in minutes too! Had to go tell the chef it was excellent.

Absolutely delicious! Food was exceptional, service was amazing and just an overall great time! Highly recommend!

We had pavlova french roast, beef burger and chicken burger. Pavlova french toast was fluffy, beautifully presented and so delicious. Beef burger was juicy and yummy. Fried chicken burger was okay, fried chicken patty was slightly dry but good flavour.
Overall it was a good lunch

The apple crumble French toast was the best breakfast in a long time.
Would plan future trips around getting back here for a repeat serving.

The kids size milkshakes are suitably small for kids. For teenagers, consider upsizing.

Had the Eggs Benedict which came with slow cooked pork, very nicely done with perfect eggs. Had some of my partner's potato rosti which was highlight.

Cosy, comfortable environment with friendly helpful staff. I ordered the potato rosti, it came with delicious trimmings and very well presented. The rosti was made of a fine mashed potato, although i prefer my rosti contents grated, I still enjoyed this dish immensely. Next I consumed a freshly made juice of orange ginger & carrot, very tasty & refreshing
the cafe is located on a side street, within walking distance to all amenities and the lake.

Worst breakfast I’ve had. Plate decoration was good. I’m not there for decoration. I’m there to eat. Not happy with the breakfast. Or the service.
