Functions at The Grand

My husband and I hosted our wedding reception in the Riverview room, and it was amazing. The space had so much character and gave our guests the option of sitting on the balcony, or inside. The staff were fantastic leading up to the reception and on the day; their communication was clear and they helped answer any queries I had. They were also very flexible with dietary requirements, which is always a plus! Our guests had a lovely night - we're still getting comments on how perfect the space was. I highly recommend Functions at the Grand:)

Nicole is amazing at arranging all the finer details - our event at "Next Door" was so fun and stress free. Food is delicious!

From the very first visit Nicole was warm and so helpful. The booking process was easy and all communication in the lead up to our engagement party was prompt and professional. Nicole was only too happy to help in anyway she could.
On the night all our guests remarked on how wonderful the venue, it's staff and the food was, and we couldn't have agreed more.

Riverview Room was perfect - requests for tables and linen were kindly met. Convenient access to room before party was great - very helpful staff, elevator access to bring up supplies, flowers and cake.
Food - exceptional quality, abundant.
Staff- professional, helpful and skilful and polite.
Technology requests- all met with ease - projector for slideshow, video projection.
Microphone- clear sound.
Bar service- professional, competent.
Special mention - Meg - a delight to work with. Always professional, obliging, provided technological support, efficient, highly skilled. Would request Meg for my next function.

I recently held my 30th in the beautiful Next Door space. Everything was absolutely perfect! The staff were amazing in the lead up and very quick to respond to all my questions. The team on the night were so friendly and easy going. The food was incredible and there was so much variety for people to enjoy. Highly recommend! Can’t wait to plan my next event here.

We had an amazing night - the staff were very accommodating and friendly- nothing was too much trouble. The communication regarding our booking was clear and concise. Questions were addressed in a timely manner. The room is ideal, as it has a capacity to seat those who wish to be seated and the use of the balcony is enjoyed by all. The food was plentiful and delicious.
We have used this function room for previous parties and can highly recommend it.

Seriously cannot recommend the Grand enough. We had our function in the Riverview room and it was incredible. So many people commented on how good the venue was and how amazing the food was. The outdoor alfresco is also amazing and still useable in weather conditions. The staff were so incredibly friendly and helpful and I can’t thank the team enough for making our night so special.

We had my husbands 50th birthday party here at the Grand in their Federation Room upstairs. Everything was absolutely brilliant! We were so impressed. The food was delicious and plentiful, the staff were exceptional - professional, friendly and attentive. It all ran like a well oiled machine, and nothing was too much trouble. Thanks to Nicole, our event coordinator, and please pass on our thanks to all the staff who were on on the night. They were fantastic and lovely, as was the driver of the courtesy bus that dropped us home on the spur of the moment! I would highly recommend Functions at the Grand for your special occasion!

Excellent venue for my husbands 50th birthday. Everyone was so helpful in booking the event and during the event. The food was maxing and plenty of it. I would recommend The Grand Warrandyte to anyone looking for function space

Had my daughters christening at The Grand in the River View Room, was really nice, food was delicious especially the mini waygu burgers, soo yum. Staff were friendly. I would definitely recommend this venue for a function.

We hosted our engagement party at Next Door and it was such a great night thanks to the Grand Functions team! Nicole and the team were great to work with and their organisation and attention to detail took the pressure off us. They were clear and communicated regularly in the lead up. Their flexibility with our requests and our vendor’s requests meant the event felt uniquely “us”. Our guests commented on how good the food and drinks were - the grand star martinis we organised for guests on arrival were a nice, luxe touch. The team on the night were great too. We also appreciated the transparency of the Grand for publishing function pricing on their website - this helped narrow down our short list and meeting their team made it an easy choice. We had a wonderful event and would highly recommend this venue!

The Grand's Federation Room has been our go-to venue for staff functions for some time. Nicole and her team always provide excellent service, good food and always go the extra mile to make our nights run smoothly.

Trying to call them but they don't pick up. Left a contact message, no reply back. Haven't even booked anything yet and already I'm frustrated with their service.

Gemma, Nicole, Grace, Meg, Lara, Mary and all the staff were soo accomodating, attentive and friendly, the service they provided was everything we could have hoped for and more. All staff bringing out food were across all the dietary requirements, and made sure everyone was well taken care of which we and our guests appreciated so much, attention to detail in this aspect was the best we’ve ever experienced!

We hosted a dinner for our close family and friends in the NextDoor room after our wedding and we couldn't be happier with the experience. The food and drinks were lovely, the staff were very friendly and we had a great experience when communicating with the team in the lead up to our event. We were also very impressed with how accommodating they were in adding a kids meal last minute. Overall, very happy with our experience! Would highly recommend!

We hired “Next Door” at the Grand Hotel for our 40th. The venue was perfect for the amount of people we wanted to host in a cocktail event, and everyone commented how much they liked the space. The food was tasty and there was plenty offered. Staff very accomodating and great communication. Would highly recommend the Grand Hotel.

The Grand Hotel at Warrandyte certainly know how to make people feel welcome.
Our group held a business meeting, followed by a buffet lunch and the food, service and attention to detail ensured a highly successful and enjoyable experience.
I'm happy to highly recommend The Grand to anybody wanting to combine business with pleasure in a fabulous setting at Warrandyte.

Our Wedding reception at the Grand blow us away! The service, food and staff were amazing! We had complete freedom and flexibility on how we wanted the night to run and how we wanted the room to look. The whole process from start to finish was a breeze and a huge shout out to Alysha who made it so easy for us every step of the way!

The Riverview room is a fantastic venue for a big party. We hosted a joint 21st & 50th birthday there and had such a wonderful night. All our guests commented on how great the venue was. Service and food was excellent. Highly recommend!
