Full Turn Kitchen Bar

Excellent food. 3 of us all had different dishes and they were all delicious! Yummy coffee & lemon, lime & bitters as well.

There comes moments, in every reviewers career where they have a dining experience that make them feel as though they have been too kind in their previous reviews. My experience eating here was just such a moment. I always read reviews before dining, so that I can be aware of what issues may exist, and had noticed a trend of claims of bad service. I went to this Cafe looking for something to fault and couldn't find a single thing. And so I wish to set the record straight on any such claims of bad service. In fact, the service was so good it puts most places to shame. In fact, when we purposely empied our water to time how long until a refill was offered, I hadn't even the time to set the empty bottle down before being offered another bottle. Every dish was excellent. Eggs Benedict was flawless in texture and taste, without the trademark vinegar aftertaste so prevalent in the cooking of older eggs.and the chai was exquisite and traditional. The coffee was strong and the foam perfect. I struggled to not sit there grinning like a fool and would describe the food as an experience and not just nourishment. I would also advise other cafe's to get on their level, because they've raised the bar.

Not being a local, it took me at least an hour to chose a cafè in the area that looked like they did an acceptable eggs benny.

We decided on Full Turn on a whim due to their menu suiting our preferences more than the other places around where we are staying for the weekend and were pleasantly surprised at what we found.

The first thing you notice is how spacious Full Turn's location is, there are multiple different chair types to fit those with different preferences and the place feels friendly and comfortable.

There is someone to greet you when you arrive and brings you table water and a menu as well. We were seated in a table at the side of the room near the kitchen. The staff is super friendly and helpful and we even had table service! (not something you normally see in a cafè where I'm from).

The coffee and food were delicious and beautifully presented, even the alfalfa on top of the eggs Benedict brought something to the dish. The croissant was perfectly heated and the cheese and ham in the centre was delish!

To finish our breakfast we had to try one of their banana and nutela muffins and their Carmer Sutra Chai, if you like a traditional chai this is for you! It was an experience in itself and reminded me of having traditional chai with friends growing up.

Do not overlook this cafè, if you do it would be a disservice to your taste buds!

A true Hidden GEM!
this is now our favorite coffee shop, we have to take car from other side of town but every time the quality of the food and service it`s soo good that makes the trip worth, in case i need it when I`m older.
My wife is an Italian coffee freak and she can stop raving about the consistent goodness of this place product. We feel JEALOUS for those who live nearby and can go everyday.

Great if you like waiting, being ignored, getting strange looks. If you do have to go here, just note you have to stand 30cm in front of the doors to make them open

My review rating reflects the overall experience of having to wait 35 minutes for my food and then being charged extra for something I didn't even have!
The food was lovely but being told they gave my food to someone else, having to wait so long and then not being offered anything past I'm sorry, then being charged for asking for my eggs well done was just poor customer service. Based on this I wouldn't return which is a shame. Definitely need to work on customer service in this instance

Ordered scrambled eggs with 3 eggs, got 2 scrambled and one poached, ordered ham and cheese toasty and they forgot and had to wait for 45 mins, asked for 3 sets of cutlery and got 2, had a hair in my brekky. Had to ask for glasses and water. I would love for a next visit to be a much better experience. Usually an ok place.

From the moment we walked in with our group of 5, we felt welcome, at ease and appreciated! The very attentive and friendly front of house staff were fantastic and overshadowed only by the sheer visual appeal and deliciousness of the coffee and stunning meals. Thanks guys, we'll definitely be back on our next trip to Melbourne!

Coffee is great. Has a great layout of individual and group table. Pino and staff always look after us and make sure we are well looked after. Great little cafe and location.

Excellent quality food, I had the banana and coconut fritters which were divine. They have clearly put a lot of thought in to perfecting the menu and creating a lovely atmosphere for customers and staff. Will definitely be returning to sample the rest of the menu!

Fabulous cafe with indoor and outdoor seating options. The eggplant miso salad is delicious and a favourite for summer! Staff are also very friendly and accommodating.

Lives up to expectations from all of the positive reviews. Enjoyed the Chilli Scrambled Eggs, and the kids loved their waffles and ice cream. A great and friendly vibe.

At Full Turn Kitchen Bar you will be welcomed as their most valuable customer, even if it's your first visit. The place as such is tastefully furnished, spacious and very comfortable. The menu offers various delicious dishes for every taste and need.
Their coffee is perfect! (Believe me. I drink only black coffees.)
Please try their GF and vegan brownie!

A good local for the Bay Road apartment crowd. But there is better coffee if you further afield.

Two words: souffle pancakes! When you clean the plate you know it's good! You will not regret ordering them. Amazing place, slowly working my way through the menu and never had a bad meal. Definitely my weekend go to!

My friend and I had brunch here today. What a great find!
We both had a nourish bowl, mine with chicken and hers without. It was soooo good. One of the best I’ve had, so many yummy flavours and great texture. My friend also had the house made gluten free banana and date bread, which looked delicious.
My choc peanut brunch smoothie with soy was very thick and yummy - the paper straw struggled a bit with the thick peanut butter and banana, a wider metal straw would be better.
The customer service was wonderful.
They also had some very yummy goodies at the counter - vegan & gf slices and tarts.
I highly recommend this place, especially if you have dietary requirements or friends who do.

Whether it is just coffee, or breakfast or lunch this is a wonderful place with such friendly staff.
Coffee is always spot on, and either the BLAT or the Moroccan salad for lunch always hits the spot.
