Full Turn Kitchen Bar

This is not my normal act for bad comments on services and food for a cafe or a restaurant but today’s poor dine in experience with friends has pushed my boundary. In the one hour time frame, two wait staff came to our table more than 5 times asking us for additional orders which we have already our drinks and let them know we will order when we are ready but the two wait staff did not take in what we said and came to us again and again in the short time frame. We felt it was pushy.

Then we finally order out meals. The seafood paella tasted horrible. The seafood did not taste fresh. It was not a paella at all. The big pan paella in South Melbourne market tasted way much better than the seafood paella from Full Turn.

It was a very good service and tasty food cafe but not anymore. I hope the owner would consider about my comments for improvement. The standard has dropped since after the pandemic.

Staff most attentive and warm and friendly. Always a pleasure to visit our local cafe within our apartment.

My wife and I had lunch here today and it was a very pleasant experience. The cafe has a welcoming atmosphere with very attentive staff. The menu has a nice diversity of choice, and the food was really enjoyable. We shall be back:)

The food was tasty, but stone cold, which was disappointing given that they weren't very busy and appeared to have quite a few staff on. Staff were friendly and the cafe is a nice space.

My mums favorite and ours too. Great smoothies and lovely choice of breakfast, lunch or dinner. Dont forget to try their coffee which is great.

Cool place with all the comfort for indoor or outdoor or dining with your fur friend!
Good menu and tasty dishes.

Not the normal sterile cafe one finds beneath modern apartment buildings. This has a great interior vibe and good food & coffee.

Really solid spot. Firstly, the best coffee around! Great service, friendly and prompt. Lovely options for brekkie and lunch. Lots a star purely for many options being slightly on the higher price range - would be good to have more mid range (smaller) options - important to note the comment doesn’t mean it’s expensive, portions are huge - just if you’re not such a big eater, a lot may go to waste. Highly recommend. Good outside area (can be a little noisy due to location), dog friendly, easy access. Much better than many of the beach side options in the area. Pastas and wonderful!

Food is acceptable level. Staff are very good. Go here 3 times a week or more. Coffee is good. Scrambled eggs today we're excellent. Normally have porridge. Ok but l suggest the chef never eats porridge however.

Got an iced latte and hot latte here.
Both of them were good taste.
It's a bit hard to find this cafe when you are driving along the street.

The food is delicious, coffee made fresh, and the pastries are SO GOOD.the brownies, the cheesecakes, the lemon meringue tart! Also staff is very friendly ️

Came for lunch and the food was great. Our table ordered the mushroom bruschetta, salt and pepper squid, chai, hot chocolate and coffee. The mushroom bruschetta was delicious and the garlic cream sauce drizzled over the top made the kale more edible for me as I’m usually not a kale fan. Loved the garlic cream sauce!
The squid looked fantastic as did the hot chocolate. Looking forward to a return visit!

Update 09 April 22: Seems times are getting tough and portions are diminishing. The was my eggs Benedict with spinach and a side of hash browns. Though there was 2 hash browns. Disappointed.

Due to it location, this is one of the best "off the beaten track" cafes around for a great brunch! Lots of breakfast options on the menu without being overkill on flavours/sauces that can be so rich they leave you feeling a little ill. The chilli scramble eggs are a standing favourite, and love the porridge as well as the muffins for a cheat day take away.

I visited this coffee shop today as it had overall good ratings. To my disappointment today was not a good experience. The coffee served was cold and the food portions was absolutely not value for money. The one order was also wrong after specifically repeating the preference more than once. Will not recommend.

Love this cafe, good food, good coffee and friendly staff. Love the variety of dishes for breakfast and lunch. All day brekkie which is another winner. Lots of seating indoor and outdoor. Have tried both the smashed avo and mushroom bruschetta, and would recommend both. They also have a great take away selection, including jaffles! Keen to come back to try more of the menu.

Very pleasant staff and balanced menu.
I had the best fish of the day.fresh grilled barramundi and it was delicious.
Very good coffee and all with fast service and reasonable pricing.

A fantastic cafe tucked just off bay road. One of my favourite places to take people for a relaxed brunch on a sunny weekend.

Food and coffee are on point with a wide array of items to choose from although I generally keep going back for the burger.

Had an early brekkie at the Full Turn Cafe today and I loved the whole experience. Tony easily connected with his friendly personality and whatever he recommended was quality and delicious. Music and ambient were also great. Thanks Tony, I willbe back soon.

Horrible Brekkie Roll. When I returned it the staff said it was because it had been sitting in the display cabinet all day. I don’t understand why they would serve it to me. They did make me another but that one was unfortunately only mildly better than the first. I would not recommend this cafe to anyone wanting a quality dining experience and will not return.
