Freddy's Bike Tours & Rentals reviews
85Absolutely amazing experience thanks to the convenivient speedy booking, friendly and knowledgeable guide, all the remarkable landmarks and true value for money. Highly recommend for anyone looking to sightsee at a new pace and creative manner
Easily the best thing to do 1st in Melbourne. You'll see the places to know on day 1. And if you actually get Freddy doing the tour you've stuck gold. The electric bike option is great too. Even seasoned Melbournians should do it!
A great tour of the city. Comfortable bikes, tidbits of interesting history, popular and hidden gems of melbourne city. The kids loved it. Thx Freddie
Good bikes. Perfect for riding round the city. We did a ride up the Yarra, a lovely way to spend the day.
If you are a newbie in Melbourne, this is the first thing you must do. You don`t need to be a very athletic person, just join the enjoyable ride with the daily tours with Freddy`s Bike Tours and it really is a nice city tour with nice city views.
A fun way to learn about Melbourne history. We had Matt, very informative, patient and funny! Thank you.
I highly recommend taking a tour with Freddy:
- Biking is a great way to discover Melbourne, and is quite easy to ride (barely any hills)
- The bikes are really comfortable
- Freddy has plenty of stores to tell, and is a very nice and fun guy!
And if you don’t do it.your loss!
Rented the E-Bike last weekend and had a blast! So much fun. Tutorial and service were both great. Highly recommend
Guide made the tour. If you are short of time this must be the best way to see Melbourne. Matt the guide was great full of information and a 'film star ' as well. Gentle exercise.
Friendly staff, really fast check out, don't think it took me more than 10 minutes to rent a bike there. Just be mindful there's only a handful of road and mountain bikes so plan accordingly. Cheers guys!
We rented an e-bike and did about 40 ks riding along the Yara River. The bike was great and being the first time I have ever used an eBike it was a great experience. Would highly recommend it as a way to see Melbourne for the day. The people who work at Freddy's were excellent as well. Just a very good over all experience.
My friend and I had the most amazing time! Matt is a fantastic tour guide and knows his stuff. I have been in Melbourne for 5 months and this is best way to get to know the city and cycling in the city. Thank you
We hired the commuter ebikes and had a great time following the Yarra trail (45km used up 1 bar when switching between the first two levels). Ride position can be a little uncomfortable if you usually ride mountain or road bikes. Would recommend.
Great service and friendly staff. Good bikes. The tours are good and interesting, and that's a highly recommended way to visit the city. Mostly flat so everyone can do it.

I would highly recommend Freddy's Bike Tours to anyone who wants to do something fun and see Melbourne in a different way. We had a great time & Freddy was a great tour guide. I must say that we did get the best looking tour guide too ;)
Excellent tour of Melbourne on a Dutch city bike. The bikes are stable, although a little heavy. Tour guide Mathew set up a nice pace. He checked on the group all the time. He gave specific instructions to avoid being hit by a tram. He provided numerous historical facts about Melbourne. A great experience. Great lunch also.
Fantastic! Freddy was funny and entertaining. Freddy wove interesting details about history and culture of Melbourne with careful instruction on how to bike safely across the route that he new every obstacle. Off the beaten path, lunch spot had fresh and artistisan local fare. Freddy did everything possible to make our day memorable. A great way to cover a lot of ground and see many places you might not find on your own. I would highly suggest this tour.
We had a great tour with Freddy and we highly recommend this tour to anyone who is visiting Melbourne or even lived here for a couple of years. Enjoy!
