I was really disappointed, especially for the amount of money i spent on the photos.
The experience itself wasnt great. I felt very rushed, they just wanted you in and out.
There wasnt much say in the make up side of things and was next to no advise on styling, i found i was just waiting in a cold room for the photographer to come back between outfit changes.it felt awkward in the shoot, wasnt told if i should smile or not etc. The guy that did the viewing with me was great, i couldnt fault that part.
The photos were simply disappointing. Poor editing to say the least. Skin tones wasnt evened out, my knees looked red, my back, butt and some leg was just not edited to look "smooth" as they tell you it will be. I choose the pictures in colour as i got the black and white versions with it, however, disappointed. When i seen some of the photos in black and white at the studio i loved them, so i picked them in colour as i would get the black and white. However they were completely different, like a greyscale and washed out. No contrast in them and now i just dont like them at all.
End result, complete waste of time and money and i would go back to another company in future, not fotograph hq!

I can't recommend Fotograf HQ enough! The entire experience, from start to finish, exceeded my expectations. The staff made a fantastic effort to calm my nerves and put me at ease from the start. My photographer, Gino, and my hair and makeup artist, Alesha, were very helpful and provided me with all the directions I needed. Their professionalism and extremely welcoming approach made me feel like I was in the best hands possible! We discussed all my creative ideas and inspiration before the actual shoot, and it was fantastic how the photos turned out in the end. I had looked at their Instagram feed and website before the session, but I didn't think I could look like any of these people in the images - but I ended up being amazed by my photos! Thank you so much to the entire team at Fotograf HQ for creating such stunning masterpieces with your skills. I can't wait to receive my order and show my photos to everyone.

The level of work they produce exceeds that of most studios I have visited. What they do is an art form inspired by ordinary people like me, and I am very grateful for my experience with them!

Blown away by the team at Fotograf HQ who gave me such a blessing of a modelling experience. I had submit my details for their dancer call out and from the moment they first called me over the phone to the time I was viewing and purchasing my photos (as I ended up deciding to get some boudoir shots taken as well as dance ones) their staff were so genuine, considerate and welcoming. Over the phone, in the makeup chair, in the shoot itself and in the viewing session I was made to feel at ease by their warming nature and what I had anticipated would be a nerve-wracking and fearful experience ended up being the most beautiful one! The team really do take the time to get to know you as a person and cater to all your desires for your photoshoot. I am so thankful to have been photographed in a safe environment that had me coming out of the studio feeling more empowered than ever xx

I won a competition for a photoshoot, hair & makeup included. I was a little nervous at first, but everyone at Fotograf HQ made my experience amazing. Alysha did an incredible job with my makeup and hair, made me feel so beautiful.
I’ve done a couple of dance photoshoots before, but Gino was the best photographer I’ve ever come across. His energy and positive attitude was so uplifting and made me feel so confident and excited!
Gino was very open to photographing me with props I’d brought and made me feel very comfortable with expressing myself and something I love.
Gino is an extremely talented photographer, the photos I’ve received are so much better than anything I ever expected!
The other staff I came across there were also so pleasant and very focused on making my time as comfortable and enjoyable as possible.

I was contacted by Fotograf HQ informing me Id been chosen as a runner up in a pet photo shoot competition, my gosh I was so excited! I was so glad someone could see the love I have for my dog and I was so excited to be chosen. The prize was a $750 voucher, which included hair and makeup, 1 1/2 hour photo shoot, a viewing session, 1 free image and a $100 credit towards further purchases. Despite being told by multiple people that this competition was just a ploy to make hundreds off me, I went through with it. My hair and makeup was beautiful and Racheal, I think her name was, was the highlight of my experience. So very lovely and we had such a nice chat. The photographer was awesome too, very welcoming and friendly and made me feel very comfortable. He was very good with my dog too. However, the photo shoot went for maybe 30-45 minutes. I was then asked to wait in the foyer and look at their brochure. I was there for about half an hour on my own before someone brought me into their viewing room. Now this lady was lovely to begin with, but upon reading that photos were $350 EACH, I had already decided to just leave with my free image. Despite my prize including a $100 credit, $250 was still out of my price range for another image. I was honest about this as soon as I sat in the viewing room, and as soon as I was, the lady was immediately uninterested in the process and me. She tried to convince me to use my $100 credit and even tried to tell me they had a special deal running that week only where they would double the prints I buy. Her attitude when I said I couldn’t afford that, or even when I politely asked if they offer a payment plan for the rest of the $250 it would cost of an additional image, was beyond rude. I couldn’t stand to be in that room with her for very long knowing she was judging my financial limitations. I went into this experience only prepared to use what I received in that voucher and not do myself out of hundreds or thousands of dollars, and while I was in the viewing room it was made quite clear that while they offered a ‘free’ experience, they fully expect you to fall in love with the photos and spend hundreds on them. If you’re a 20 something Uni student like me you may relate to how unachievable this is. If you are contacted about such a prize, please be aware that you will be looked down upon and judged for not giving them money.
Fotograf HQ, if you are awarding free prizes, you cannot then expect to make money off the recipients. On a positive note, my one free image I was sent two weeks later is absolutely beautiful, so thank you, but overall I will not be recommending this experience.

As someone who has no experience in modelling and hair & make up before, going into the experience I felt under prepared and nervous, however this completely changed when I met the kind staff at the studio. After having my hair an makeup done by a talented makeup artist I was greeted by our photographer, and although I had no clue how to model both my boyfriend and I felt comfortable and confident when instructed by our photographer. He knew exactly where to place and position us and made the experience fun and enjoyable. When viewing the results of the photo shoot my boyfriend and I felt the need to buy more photos then first intended due to how happy we were with the results.

I had an absolute blast and thoroughly enjoyed my experience with Fotograph HQ last Friday. I felt so comfortable with everyone I came into contact with and Gino made me feel so confident in my own skin during the photography process which is a feeling I’m still getting used to.

The second I walked in the door I was looked after and all my nerves/worries were swept away instantly by the friendly and welcoming staff. It was a massive jump out of my comfort zone and it well and truly paid off, I cannot be more grateful.

The experience couldn’t have come at a better time as I’m really only now learning to love my body, and everyone there that saw my photos were all boosting my confidence even more with their lovely comments.

I won the experience in a Christmas competition and right from the very first phone call I knew it was going to be a comfortable process as they were so thorough with their communication and didn’t feel like I was being rushed/misinformed in any way.

Cannot recommend the team at Fotograph HQ enough!
