Awesome experience for our first time having professional photos done. Made it a very special experience for our maternity photos

Such an amazing experience from start to finish!
Upon arrival I was warmly greeted and was walked through exactly how everything was going to go down.
The Makeup artist was so lovely, we had a great conversation while my makeup was getting done, she was also very considerate to want I wanted and gave her professional opinion. The photoshoot was less intimidating than I thought it would be! I felt so comfortable. The photographer was very experienced and gave instructions well to how they wanted me positioned keeping in mind my insecure areas. Changing outfits wasn't an issue, the room was cleared for me to get changed. The photo selection had a fantastic illumination process to help me select my favourite photos. I cannot wait to see the final outcome of my photos. I 100% recommend Fotograf HQ.

My experience with Fotograf HQ is incredible. I did the shoot doing Covid to boost my confidence and they have helped me change my life around. I went back in today for a transformation shoot, and oh boy. It was insane. Sey helped pose me in incredible poses, she was so supportive and insane. Cin was so supportive and cheeky and make me feel so strong and beautiful. And of course to the lovely Kayleigh for her beautiful make up and hair styling. We had the best conversations from work to doing dancing i could not recommend these beautiful people and anymore? Overall experience was maleficent. Viewing process was quick and well wasn’t easy as the photos were so beautiful I wanted to say yes to all! Cannot wait to see the end results

Just walked out of my session with HQ and I am on cloud 9! The team made me feel so comfortable as soon as I walked in the door and I could not be happier with the experience. Any girl considering doing a boudoir shoot, do it! You’ll feel amazing. Highly recommend HQ!

Such a fun experience, I thought I would be nervous but the ladies here made sure I wasn't! Super friendly and loved every part of the day! Hardest part was choosing out of so many amazing images

I entered an Instagram giveaway/competition (that’s still running- so I guess there is no winner) it seems looking back it was a scam.
I didn’t win the major price pack but did get offered a free shoot. I was excited. I had a free photoshoot and one free photo and $100 towards more pictures.
I booked and got to the very professional looking location. It wasn’t warm and inviting though. Although staff seemed nice the whole experience felt rushed.
I had a hair and make up consult before she started and the lady was lovely but the make up wasn’t what we discussed. I thought maybe it would look different in the photos. It did not! Hair was fantastic though.
I was then escorted to another room so she could start the next clients makeup. Kinda felt like a procession line. The room was cold and empty to change and have photos in. A new woman (photographer) came in and I explained my vision but let her take the lead.
This was meant to be a boudoir session, the room was completely empty and white, only one cold plastic chair to sit on. I thought it would be warm and inviting and comfortable props to lay on. I was wrong.
We did do 3 looks and she took what seemed like a lot of photos.
I waited about 30 minutes to see the photos.
A man who I hadn’t met before went through by intimate photos with me and he just felt like a sales person who ended up pressuring me to spend a lot of money on photos that I honestly wasn’t happy with.
What’s worse is that I explained to them that I had a bad experience recently with taking photos and now I’m kicking myself I spent so much money on photos I could ideally have taken myself and filtered with Snapchat. (They might have even turned out better.)

Its hard to put into words how disappointed I am with this company. There was hardly any communication that resulted in a horrid experience. I wasn't made aware of their prices or procedures. I asked SEVERAL times over the phone and email to send me pictures of their previous work with plus size models and got nothing. They asked for me to send a pintrest board of my ideas which i put together for the make up and etc. It was completely overlooked and it felt like an absolute waste of time.

I wasn't made aware that what I 'won' didn't go to the deposit and had to pay an upfront cost. Again without being told.

And finally when all said and done, they said that the photos would be ready after 2 weeks. It has now passed the three week mark and there has been NO communication. If they call you to tell you you've won something. Don't bother. Its a scam.

I did get a call from management when I lodged a complaint and received an apology but have heard nothing since. I sincerely hope they've used it to help better themselves but after not hearing anything after the two week due date i fully doubt it.

The good points were the make up artist who did a fantastic job despite not being told anything. She did amazing work. But that is literally it. There are way more professional photography places and Melbourne and I fully suggest you have a look around.

I definitely recommend Fotograf HQ to anyone trying to get out of their comfort zone. I went in nervous and scared but all staff were great at making me feel comfortable during my boudoir shoot. At the end I felt so good that I went ahead and felt liberated afterwards. My pictures look amazing and I would definitely be back! Thanks so much ️

I had a car photo shoot to gain confidence within myself and I think it’s safe to say that has been achieved with thanks to Fotograf HQ and their lovely staff. Make up and hair were done beautifully by Kayleigh, I felt so amazing seeing myself all dolled up! Photos were taken by Sey who made me feel so comfortable and express myself in a way I didn’t think possible! Cind helped me to go through all of the final decision photos and helped me to look past my flaws and realise the beauty behind the photo.

The photos were great and the photographer was lovely. However, the method of which was used to get me to come to this place and make a purchase was unbelievable.

I had thought I had won an experience online by participating in their "competition". I thought my witty response had won me something incredible. A free photoshoot with the ability to take home one photo it said.

However, once at this venue, after the makeup was done (makeup that suddenly made me feel was a bit much for a simple competition) and then the photoshoots, when we were looking at the photos taken of me in the room, I realised the strategy at hand. Social pressure. Gone was the calm and friendly attitude that was provided to me on the phone reassuring me of the "competition". Suddenly it was a case of. Pick the photos you liked and then matter-of-factly, here are the packages available, how will you like to proceed.

I realise it's under the guise of a competition that they got me. Had they begun the session by saying, "let's pick your free photo and if you like anything else I'll tell you about our packages" I would have reviewed this place 5 stars. Now I understand a possible thought would be "why would they do all that for one photo? " Because that's what they said they would on the competition.

Mind you, had I not had the money available on me at the time, I can imagine the pressure getting to other people who would make a purchase that they don't like.

To conclude, I liked my photos, I liked my photographer, but the method that was used to get me here and the pressure to buy photos were not acceptable, I also read the other reviews for this place and realised that it wasn't some made up thing about this place, cause we don't have time for that. It just boggled my mind because the service itself is so good so they could get people legitimately but sadly I'm one of the "competition" suckers.

I was told I won a competition, rearrange a whole week to make sure I could attend the appointment then they canceled the day before at 4: 30pm as they said I hadn’t confirmed. In my experience a booking is confirmed when it’s made. They never made any follow up calls only a txt and call at 4: 30pm. I called at 5 but no answer.
Also I’ve seen the same competition advertised since, clearly a way to rope people into paying exorbitant amounts for a few photos.
