Excellent Italian restaurant. Splendid meals. Full of flavour. Small and attentive setting.

It’s not authentic at all.
As seafoods isn’t fresh, dish is greasy than we expected, made us such disappointed though it was rated so high on the map.
And it’s pricey, doesn’t worth it.

An impeccable Italian dining experience with superb service to boot. We had the 5 course menu with arancini, squid ink pasta, lamb and tiramisu. Food was absolutely perfect with great flavours. Special mention goes to the waiters who were excellent too.

Incredibly Amazing food, a lot of thought and care throughout the whole dining experience, the owner and staff ought to be commended for designing such an intimate yet accomodating experience. We will be definitely coming back! Well done.

Very chic, small Italian restaurant with great food. Like in Italy!
We went for early dinner and had a five course menu. Everything was deliciously prepared and the price-performance ratio was perfectly fine.
What was remarkable was that we had never seen so many Chinese people in an Italian restaurant. People also like Italian food in China!

We started with the complimentary sourdough bread and it was delightfully fluffy! The staff was knowledgeable and recommended us to try their signature entrée – veal tartare with tuna mayo. The presentation was so impressive and gorgeous. The sweet potato chips adds a delightful crispy texture that beautifully contrasted with the tartare.

The squid ink pasta with spanner crab and prawn mix was another standout! The sauce boasted a flavourful blend of garlic and tomato, while the squid ink pasta sheet itself was satisfyingly chewy! The kind prawns were generously sized and tender!

The risotto was so creamy yet slightly saltier for my liking. It was overall quite average, though it was richly infused with truffle flavour.

The food was delectable but perhaps on my next visit, I’ll opt for pasta dishes or check out the dessert menu.

Great service and food was great as always. I’ve been here many times, it was first time that steak was just a little bit more cooked, and I told waiter about the steak.he was very polite and fixed it right away. They served steak again within few mins and it was perfect. I can tell how much Foglia Di Fico team cares about customers. I am very happy to live around this restaurant.

Food was decent, but slightly over priced. Wine list is very expensive. Also staff need to relax a little bit, constantly hovering around the table made us a bit uncomfortable.

Possibly the most authentic Italian restaurant in Melbourne. Superbly prepared with the freshest ingredients. Nice ambience and interiors.
Had the seafood pasta - pasta cooked perfectly with freshest and juiciest seafood, scallop entree - seared perfectly and delicious, grilled tooth fish panfried to perfection maintaining its moisture, mushroom pasta was bursting with flavours.

But I’ve got to take 1 star off - informed the person taking our order that the food needs to be nut-free due to allergy issues but the salad which came with the fish had walnuts in it. They were really apologetic so we are fine with it - no harm done.

Being quite a challenge to get a table here (esp on Friday evenings), our reservation was at 5.30pm. Since it was rather close to lunch time and we were quite full from lunch, we ordered a main course for each of the guests but was informed we need to order an entree. Find this to be a rather strange policy.

Nevertheless, highly recommended and THE place to go for Italian cuisine.

In terms of food, we ordered 3 pastas - ai funghi, fruitti di mare and squid ink filled pasta. Pastas were handmade, with perfect texture and taste. Ingredients were also very fresh especially the prawns. We were also recommended a red wine, Lacrima that was aromatic and paired well with our food.

Service was also excellent! We were an hour early for our reservation and they accommodated us anyway even though the restaurant was packed. We were given a heads up that service might be slow because they had not expected us yet, but not at all - they were attentive and considerate. We also had a chance to speak with the head chef, Jerry - who seemed very passionate about creating an authentic Italian experience

This was a really enjoyable meal, would love to come back to try their beef the next time!

My compliments to the restaurant and staff and it’s absolutely beyond expectations! We enjoyed a lovely night in here with relaxed ambience, first class service and above all, beautiful yummy food!
Highly recommend the scallop, octopus (entrees) and beef steak (mains)! Seafood pasta is a little bit average compared to other dishes (needs more cheese for me). Also expecting they can offer tiramisu next time!

Five course meal is well worth the price and was a great experience, each current meal you forget about the previous meal and it keeps getting better. Wish Foglia Di Fico would sell a tub of their fig gelato!

We got 5: 15 pm table for Christmas dinner but it was worth it. We ordered grilled steak and tooth fish, gnocchi with duck and spaghetti sea food. Everything is excellent, staff are friendly and did their job.

The food was brilliant and the staff so kind and thorough. The restaurant's own icecream was a delicious treat too!

The best place I’ve had dinner by far! And myself and my husband go out every week. The staff are amazing and the food was just to die for! We had octopus for starters and then fish and lamb for mains. There were foods on the dish that we hate (such as mushrooms and salad) but the way the cook served them up it made us change our minds! Couldn’t fault anything about this place and the experience there
