Family members were On the very next flight. The staff were extremely helpful to have the problem solved.
I was doubtful of Flight Centre's ability to find me a better deal than I could myself, but they did a great job.

Have used Flight Centre Forest Hill for International flights for many years. I have always found them to be very friendly and helpful, and never had a problem
with any of the flights they have organised for me. Were very helpful when I had to cancel a trip twice due to unexpected health issues. Would definitely recommend them.
When booking my one way trip to Toronto through a joint venture airline ticket, I was told I would be able to check in to my flight. I was unable to do so and when the Flight Centre Representative who sold it to me agreed to do it, never called me back and proceeded to head home for the day. I had to call back and get another staff member to do it. It was tough emailing them to resolve issues I had, such as ESTA requirements for tranisiting the US which I was not advised of and had to fill out at the Terminal. Overall had about eight separate issues regarding my trip that were not addressed, I will never use this store again.
To be fair, they did offer to fly me to Iceland from Toronto as recompense but then I had to arrange accomodation there with three days notice, which would have been difficult and cost me additional money so not really not that compensatory at all.
Head office has basically told me to bad, that I am unsatisfied with the service and did not even offer an apology. I wouldn't be writing this if I was just dealt in a proper professional manner.
Extremely helpful people; Leigh was full of helpful advice and changed the process from an arduous conundrum of bureaucratic red tape to an exciting, invigorating experience!
Ohh terrible.never never go thier lots of cheap options available.too expensive.and always when show tilhe quote we get cheap price.making excuses... I didn't recommend anyone
Booked a flight and hire car through them. The woman was a trainee and it took her two hours to do the booking - and she almost charged us double for flights before her manager picked up on the mistake. Then, she called us in to pick up the tickets, and when I arrived they weren't ready. I had to go back in again to pick them up.
Worst of all, I asked to pre-pay everything because I knew we wouldn't have much money near Christmas. But when we got to the hire car desk, we had to pay extra for the child seat and GPS. I had specifically asked at Flight Centre if these were included in what we'd already paid, and was told they were.
When I got back and went in to complain they implied that it was my fault for not calling them from the hire car desk. Then they refused to refund the additional costs because it was, I kid you not listed as "paid locally" (whatever that means!) in fine print in the middle of a 5 page document. This is despite the fact that I specifically asked at the time of booking "Have we paid for everything? " and the person at Flight Centre said "yes".
So apparently I shouldn't have believed what their employee told me, and it was my responsibility to check that the information she'd given me was correct. Maybe I should get her commission as well!
It literally would have been quicker and less stressful to book this myself online. Avoid these guys at any cost!
