Flight Centre 278 Collins Street reviews
73Madeleine T was so so helpful and supportive in the way she helped me find cost efficient flights, she made it so easy and is such a warm person!
Just booked holiday to fiji and hannah young was brilliant, very patient and helpful while we decided between 3 different destinations well done hannah will. Be back to book another trip in a couple of weeks thanks again
Dominic was absolutely brilliant in assisting us to navigate and organize a mega Europe trip this year. He was so helpful, knowledgeable and friendly and went above and beyond! His recommendations were highly valued, and his dedication enabled us to have a seamless and enjoyable journey from start to finish! We recommend visiting Dom for any travel plans, as we are sure to be returning to him for future travel. Thank you so much for making this experience unforgettable and for all your support and hard work. Victoria & Anthony
I did a walk in and needed some last minute insurance. I was assisted by Maddi and they were clear, thorough and made the experience very easy. I would highly recommend Maddi if you want friendly and attentive service. Talked through the options and had a quick understanding of my needs. Will definitely be returning for future travel needs.
As usual, very good experience, this time thanks to Dominic Ching who helps us plan our friends' trip to Uluru and Sydney next year. Excellent follow-up, regardless the day or time we have a question to ask.
Mollie was our agent for our US/Canadian trip and she was professional, warm and friendly in assisting us with our flights, visas etc. No task was too much trouble, each request was deal with immediately. Great customer service! Thank you Mollie
We booked our first overseas flights through Mollie at Flight Centre, Collins street, Melbourne. Mollie sure is A1! You can bet we will book our next trip with Mollie. Thanks for easing our anxieties Mollie.
Kind regards,
Vicki and Geoff
Mollie provided friendly and efficient customer service. She invested much time in securing a great deal for our overseas travel arrangements.
Anna Huang @ Flight Centre 278 Collins Street (Melbourne) is absolutely sensational at what she does. 1000/1000.
She is extremely professional, knowledgeable, accommodating and does not mess around. Travel is one of the most exciting things to do but it's also nerve racking organising every last detail. Anna made this so easy and worry free. Extremely grateful Anna! Will definitely continue to utilise your services into the future!
Absolutely useless. How many (unanswered) calls, texts and emails does it take to simply select a seat? If you're going to add complication into what is a perfectly streamlined process of buying flights online, the bare minimum is decent customer service. How this lot are still in business I'm not sure.
"Anna Huang" has been a great help while booking an international flight. She helped me in every possible way and answered my all queries which left me in no doubt. This is my third time I have used Flight centre. Very satisfied with the services provided and wish her the best. Thanks for all your assistance.
I had a very costly and stressful holiday than was originally planned because of two mistakes.
I ended up being out of pocket an additional 1500 dollars.
I had a foot infection whilst in Japan and wanted to cancel my booking in Hakone. However I was told by the travel agents to call the emergency number. I couldn't get through.
As it was so hard to cancel my booking in Hakone, I persevered with going there. Ironically, the travel agents booked my hotel on the 3rd of January, but on the itenary it said 2nd of January. So I arrived, then got told all the rooms were already full, and that your reservation was actually the next day. Unfortunately I had already paid over 600 dollars for my reservation. As it was last minute on a Japanese public holiday where all the hotels nearby were already fully booked, the only available replacement accommodation costed 1300 dollars. So basically i have spent around 2000 dollars to stay one night in Hakone. Upon asking flight centre for reimbursement they said you should not have booked the 'luxury accommodation' without first contacting the emergency number. Well I actually wanted to cancel this booking originally.by contacting the emergency number.
Unfortunately this happened again in Malaysia a few days later. This time the hotel said no reservation was made! I again, had already paid for the reservation. Luckily there was a room available. I tried calling flight centre's emergency number, but I couldn't get through. I ended up paying for accommodation again.
So travellers please be warned. They will make mistakes with hotel bookings, and you will likely have to fork out a lot more than you originally paid for.
Also the travel agents are very slow to respond to emails.
Also it is almost impossible to ask for refunds once you have paid for any tours or accommodations. I requested for a refund at the hotel Hakone, but they said it was Flight Centre that you have to contact. It was so hard to contact Flight Centre especially when you are overseas.
You will be better off booking tours and accommodations yourself as it will be a lot more flexible and a lot easier to get a refund or cancel if required. It will also be a lot cheaper
The staff are great here, they're often busy, but always are happy to assist me. Thank you.
Unfortunately if you need to speak with them on the phone they will not answer so to make an appointment you have to physically go into the store only to come back again at your appointment time. Gave up trying and went to another store and was answered within minutes
We were pleased with the customer service that Mollie provided us. She was courteous, helpful and nice to chat to.
Mollie from Flight Centre in Collins Street organised a trip to the States for myself and my son. It was not a trip to LA or New York, we were moving through the foothills of Northern California and attending the football in Santa Clara. From day 1 Mollie was able to understand our needs and was able to put a proposal in place that works perfectly. Ideal accommodation for prices that delighted us. Her industry understanding is exceptional and she was always easily contactable. A pleasure to deal with. Knocking on her door next year.
No phone number, no ability to contact. Trekked through traffic to find that the place is closed due to "illness"
And that its "walk in appointment only" what a phenomenally stupid business model.
Wasted my time, won't be using Flight Centre.
Found a great travel agent on Degraves, use them
If you want a great deal and a great great service just book an appointment on Saturday with Dominic. Kind, respectful, takes time to find the best deal for you. 100% highly recommended him. Thanks!
I was given exceptional service by Mia Favero. I would highly recommend her to anyone who is looking to travel.
1 star is generous.
Appalling customer service and treatment of their clients. Infuriating phone system that puts you on hold and eventually hangs up on, making it near impossible to speak with someone.
When you finally get through, staff and management will make promises yet fail to follow through or even communicate with you. Countless emails have been ignored with absolutely no update or acknowledgement.
They are very happy to take your money, however once you’ve handed it over, if anything needs followup you will most certainly be ignored and placed on lowest priority. I have thousands of dollars of travel credit with them that is soon to expire, yet am unable to access it. It feels criminal that they continue to hold my money hostage and refuse to deal with my situation.
If you don’t want to waste countless hours chasing your money or on hold on the phone, spare yourself the hassle and avoid at all costs.
