End of the search for an agent
We embarked on the journey to sell our house in March 2021. The most difficult task to accomplish in that journey was to find an agent to sell our much-loved family home. Having gone through the rigmarole of reading reviews, asking friends and family to recommend an agent, we decided to meet up with five agents. Ian van Eijk was one of them. Search for the agent ended when we met Ian.
We decided to entrust Ian with selling our home. Ian was receptive to our suggestions and listened to our concerns. He was easy to talk to and was approachable. We could ring him at anytime of day or night if we had anything to clarify.
Ian enlightened us on the facts of the property market. He mapped out the marketing strategy taking into account the uncertainties we face with the COVID pandemic. We felt reassured and confident when Ian spoke to us when we were undecided on what to do during the fourth lockdown.

Knowledgeable, enthusiastic and capable Agent
Robert (Rob) Sheahan was prompt to make initial contact with me in regards to selling my mother’s home in Nunawading. The first conversation was engaging, informative and gave an insight into Rob’s pleasant and amenable personality.
Rob impressed with his extensive and long term knowledge of the properties in my mother’s street. He was both keen and excited to be involved in the sale of the property. The family’s preference for method of sale was that of Private Treaty and Rob talked us through the concept of an Expression of Interest sale, which resonated perfectly with how we wished to proceed.
In the lead up to selecting a suitable Agent, Rob chose to provide his proposal in the format of a pre recorded video, the benefit of which is that my siblings and I, who are scattered around the state, were all able to evaluate his presentation. Throughout the selling process, all questions were answered and Rob provided factual information to make decision making effective.
