Fixation Brewing Co - the incubator reviews
40Tasty beer, the Kiwi behind the bar was awesome, helped with tasting notes and suggestions, so friendly. Whole place was lovely and the merch is definitely worth a look. Got a great jumper, bartender helped with fitting, So soft and great quality. If you're a beer lover get on it!
Bevs, bevs and more bevs. $21 for a tasting paddle of 5 beers, 110-120ml-ish. Good value. The IPAs are a bit woah, a lot of sour, a lot of bitter. The red ales were the best, especially the double down beer. But good spot for bevs and IPAs
Beem here twices. Each time the service is excellent and friendly, there are a range of both Fixation beers and guest beers on tap. Reasonable prices too.
One of my fave places to drop in for a beer, even on my own. Staff are friendly beers are great (I do love my IPAs) and the toasties are the best thing since sliced bread.
Awesome beer, lovely staff
Really chill venue and massive props to them for having the game on
Friendly and helpful bar staff who are happy to give you samples before you decide. Nice location with good beers. Definitely worth getting a tasting paddle.
The Fixation Incubator is such a cool spot, with fantastic brews and outstanding toasties.
I needed a tour/tasting experience for a group of 20 folk over from New Zealand, and right from my first email correspondence with Josh I knew I was onto a winner.
All the details were discussed and agreed in a timely manner well ahead of our arrival, and then Josh and Moz delivered an exceptional and personal experience that our group really enjoyed and spoke highly of for the rest of the weekend.
We each had a tasting paddle of their fantastic beers, and devoured a few delicious toasties while being told the story of Fixation and their IPA journey and process.
Hats off to these guys for making our group feel very welcome and super special, and our time at the Incubator set the tone perfectly for what was a great day out for my visitors.
Cheers Josh, I will be back again real soon to enjoy your cool space and delicious offerings.
First time here, only tried the beer Wedge, recommended by the staff since I like fruity beer. Excellent recommendation and excellent beer. Also ordered two pizza and waffle fries. Pizza is not bad, the dough is very chewy but too soft to hold the toppings, and it’s a good spice mix on the waffle fries. Will drop by again to try other beers. Plus staff are friendly and helpful, knows their beers very well and gives great recommendations.
Fantastic beers and super friendly staff. We had heard them advertised on RRR and couldn't wait to go sample some of Melbourne's finest IPA'S.
Came here for a relaxing Sunday brew on a sunny Melbourne arvo, which was perfect because the seating inside was light & bright!
It’s an awesome venue, and they have a wide range of their own beers that looked great. We ordered the Little Ray which was light & crisp, as well the Sunstone which was comparatively dark & strong. It was a nice chill atmosphere inside, the beers were great and would definitely get the paddle when I go back. Pity there aren’t more snack options on the menu though, that would be my only critique!
An awesome brewery that’s only a short tram ride from the CBD. They focus solely on IPAs and continually do new beers which means there is always something special on tap. A great place
What an awesome place for a craft beer! The beers are great, the space has a good vibe, and staff are very friendly.
Great selection of craft beers on tap and in cans. Awesome venue and great staff. These are some of Australia’s best IPA’s and highly recommend checking them out!
Called in here for a drink. This microbrewery shop is in a small warehouse. The service was good, and the crowd definitely older.
My partner and I had a tasting paddle each and it was really good.
It was definitely the best way to try their selection of beers.
It was a good place for a pre dinner drink hihi
Overall this place is worth a visit if your in the area.
Great service, friendly staff and the BEST beer. I've been getting beer delivered by these guys since iso started to try and support them and they could not provide better, friendlier service. The Obsession IPA is a fantastic beer at a good price. Couldn't recommend them highly enough.
Outstanding range of IPAs, including a dark one (). Very friendly staff - food looked lovely but didn’t get a chance to eat.
Unbelievable beer in every possible sense. To be absolutely perfect, in my opinion, it should be slightly less bitter, but nevertheless, it is an awesome beer!
Absolutely best of the aussie craft beers!
Came in on a weekend night. Great atmosphere - felt like being back home in the states. Very modern but comfortable. A true gem. Beers were excellent - I was joined by professional brewers and they were impressed. Wine was great too:) Tables were clean and the staff was excellent. I walked away so impressed by their professionalism. Even when telling us about bar close we didn’t feel rushed and were more inclined to buy more. That’s a hard thing to do in hospitality.
Plus the music was A+ (Pavement and funk tunes all in one night)
Also, women sat at the bar seats - love seeing other ladies comfortable in a venue like this. Very nice.
A-mazing customer service. Fantastic IPA's. I dont review often but sometimes you just gotta encourage quality of service and product. I will be back!
Love this place! My wife were on vacation from the states back in June 2019 and came across the incubator. We are self admitted beer snobs and enjoy hoppy beers. This please brews some excellent beer that is definitely worth a visit and taste. We enjoyed chatting with the staff and discussing the brew culture in Australia and the US.
