Have always questioned getting correct quotes and info from mechanics. Mick by far is the best mechanic I've ever been to. Very sincere, very honest, explained everything right down so that even my partner and I who know very little about cars could understand what all the problems were. He went above and beyond what we would ever expect and fixed a seperate issue that I've had about 5 mechanics not find over a span of 5 years! Hands down best mechanic in the area, 100% recommend.

Excellent service. Mick was awesome. Car broke down (clutch failed) and he was the nearest mechanic to tow the car too. Glad i did, didnt rip me off and was genuine with his service. Clutch feels better than it was when i took it in. Would definitley keep bringing my car for service/any other issues. I would recommend them to anyone who has doubts about being ripped off by other mechanics. Thanks again!

Mick at Mick’s Fix is an absolute legend! We took our car for service and replacement of radiator fan to another mechanic but weren’t satisfied with their advise, I then reached out to Mick who accommodated us on a short notice and replaced the radiator fan and serviced the car, it drives perfectly now. He followed up and checked the following day, we had a fantastic experience and from now on Mick will be our go to person for anything car related. Thanks so much!

Mick looks after his customers so well. He informs you of exactly what needs to be done, when it needs to be done and why. I have moved further away but will cross town just so I can put my car in the hands of someone with so much expertise and trustworthiness.

I have been getting my cars serviced by Mick for at least 15 years. I have always found him honest and reliable. I would highly recommend his business to anyone need car servicing.

Was using my friends car whilst she was away. Began to hear an irregular noise so I wanted to get it checked out before I continued to drive it. I needed a prompt service as I had a meeting to go to the same day. Took my car in and Mick provided excellent service. He looked over the car within 2 hours, topped up some fluids, informed me of some issues to discuss with my friend, and cleared me that the car was safe enough to drive. All for a very reasonable price. Was very happy.

Mick was extremely helpful with the repairs of my car. The water leak and the tyre puncture which he fixed out of good will. Seems like a knowledgeable mechanic and good honest man providing top notch service. Unlike Josh at Caressive in west Footscray who is 100% dodgy and ripped me off big time. Avoid them at all cost!

Newblusubi2, yeah, not the usual name most Subi's have, but i already had Subi, and even though they're both Subi's hence the name, and additional 2 for Newblu, very different with Newblu running a techtronic 3.0R H6 engine, and she has always driven well, but thanks to Mick, she is smoother than ever, has increased pick up and handling and sounds really good too.
I've shopped around for a competent fair priced mechanic, used many workshops locally, but no need to keep looking anymore.

Got a 2006 VW Polo. A bit tired and sluggish. Mick's has bought it back up to almost as new for my wife to drive our children in. Excellent work and reasonable prices, with courteous and straightforward estimates of work needed. All the work done has been excellent quality and I have never been concerned about the result.

Have an older 1990 Mazda 626 Sedan bought brand new when l was 18yo.it's 32 years old now & nearly done 500,000kms! Had an issue with the car that previous mechanics could not resolve which became very frustrating. Was by chance recommended to go to 'Fix @ Mick's' and have Mick the mechanic look at it. Was absolutely blown away by Mick, a real gentleman, who it is clearly evident is an absolute master mechanic. Fixed my beloved car, which l cannot part with! So, so happy! I took my mercedes benz ml350 here to get a new battery and water pump because i just didn't trust the previous mechanics down the street who i had recently had it serviced by and had new brake pads put on. They had ruined it and not informed me of any of the impending issues.

Mick turned the engine on and immediately saw the wobbling fan, he ordered the correct water pump and gave me the option to get german parts for it. He made sure the correct coolant fluid was in the reservoir (it had red fluid, but it's supposed to be blue)
He took an extra day to make sure it was done correctly which i was happy about because in my mind this meant he was the right guy for the job.
He even gave me a loan car while he worked. When i arrived back on monday he handed me the keys and told me to drive around the block, I did and upon my return he was waiting to tell me how we needed to fix the brakes too. He even sorted out a busted tail light and contacted mercedes manufacturers to aquire my radio code to reinstal my radio in working order after the battery change.
It all came in under budget and the car now drives smoother and better than it has in the 2 years I've owned it. In this time i have gone to 5 different mechanics to get various work done and to test the waters to find the right mechanic.my search is now over!
Mick and his team are the real deal and i will only go here now.
In fact I'm scheduled to come back in 2 weeks for a new a/c conpressor and to fix the god awful job the previous mechanic (Assuming he was even qualified) did on my brake pads.

Whenever I have any car trouble I always call mick first and he fits me in within a couple of days. Have always had trust issues with mechanics but I know I can leave my car with mick and he will fix it for the best price and will get everything done. Have used him for a few years now and can’t see myself going to anyone else in Melbourne. Couldn’t recommend a mechanic more.

The staff at Fix at Micks are knowledgeable, courteous and always prompt with services. If I need advice, Mick is always open and honest with what the problem is or may be, and then follows up with phone calls to confirm or discuss prior to any work being done. That goes for services as well. I have never had any issues with the service provided at Micks, and am completely comfortable with asking any questions, knowing Mick and his staff will take the time to provide me with clear answers and options. Mick will also go above and beyond, taking a minute to get some paint trace off my car when I admitted I'd scraped a fence when questioned, although I was there for a different issue. I can't recommend Fix at Micks Motors highly enough.

Mick and the crew are amazing, top customer service and genuinely honest to deal with. Mick got my car driving a treat and fixed all the issues in a day and at a very respectable price. I was given a hire car so I could get to and from work while my car was being worked on, free of charge! My car was even touched up with all the windows and inside of the car complimentary cleaned by one of Mick's friendly staff members.
